White Shadow

Chapter 2

  I have b-lunch ugh I'd rather go starving then eat here maybe ill just sneak out of school and go to the woods behind my house. 

"Hello" ,a strong deep voice says behind me, "I'm Jason we sit together in Mr. Warts class."

Ahh so that's his name. Pretty scary for a guy like that well not really since he looks like he bathed in warts before he came to school. I wonder if that sounded mean, please leave me alone I just want to die before I have to come hear again.

 "Jason, who's this hottie you got there? Is she yours?" 

"Ha Ha I'm not anyone's so go back through the hole you crawled through maggot"

 "Your a feisty little one,I like it, I'm Damond" 

"Venus, nice to know a maggot like you would want to know me" 

There both pretty cute I mean Jason has brownish blonde hair with blue green eyes and his body it's like he was sculpted and polished by a god but then there's Damond. He has blonde hair and blue eyes, he's wearing a tight green shirt you could see his 6 pack and those skinny jeans perfectly fit his butt. Ugh I died right then and there. The boys are talking but I can't hear them cause I'm practically drooling all over them in my mind. 

"Venus!" Jason says 

"Huh....oh what?" I say confused

 "I asked if you wanted to have lunch with me in the music room" he says 

"wait hold up a minute" Damond says 

"I wanted to see if she wanted to have lunch with me in room 184 Jason" 

"okay okay guys hold up a minute" ,the guys look at me," I know you guys want me to have lunch with you but I have my own plans. Thanks for the invitation though" I say with the most sincere voice I have.

 I walk outside to have lunch and sit against a building,I don't know the name but whatever, there's a guy across from me he's staring but I ignore him; he's pale with black hair and blue eyes that could pull you in like a magnet. I don't bother eating my lunch all I do is throw my lunch away and walk to my bike. The blue eyed freak is following me well it looks like it. I get my helmet and get on my bike. The blue eyed freak walked next to me to get on his motorcycle. I zoom my way out of the parking lot. Doing 5 over the speed limit the blue eyed freak pulled up next to me. Motioning for me to pull into the parking lot for walking through the woods on the trails. I park my bike, take my helmet off and run after him. 

"What do you want! Tell me!"

 It didn't sound like a question, more like a demand. I grabbed his arm, dang he is strong, to make him turn around and so he did. His blue intoxicating eyes look straight at mine. Awe why did he have to be so fricken cute! 

"Why did you make me pull over" 

"I didn't make you pull over, you decided to do that yourself."

 Great he's sarcastic. 

"You wanted me to pull over!! All I want to know is why" I yell. 

I'm so annoyed I start to walk away. 

"Your still as feisty as I remember" 

I stop my eyes are wide. What does he mean by that, I don't know him, he's just messing with you venus. I start walking away, towards my bike. 

"Venus" ,he says, "don't go I have something to tell you"

 "Then spit it out already and how do you know my name!?" I say. 

I just want to wake up from this dream, it is a dream right?

 "I know your name only because I knew you when you were younger. You look just like your parents" he said 

"I live with my mom and sister and if you knew me when we were younger then I would have remembered you" I say with sass. 

"She's not your mom she's your aunt and that means your so called sister is your cousin. Your mom died in a war when you were 2 and your dad well he went off the scale. When you were 2 I was 4 and I have been watching over you since then" he says 

I'm shocked how did,why.... He has some nerve to tell me this!! I walk straight up to him and punch him in the face before I can punch him again he restrains me. I'm on the ground, face in the dirt and my arm behind me in a dangerous way. 

"Let go of me" I yell

 "Not until you calm down Venus; you have a nasty right hook, I like it" he says with joy.

 Ugh I'm dying if warmth. I can feel him radiating warmth and his scent is so intoxicating. 

"I'm calm damn it know let me go" I yell at him. He lets me go.

 "Now tell me who are you?" I ask curiously.

 "I'm Cage. I've been your guardian since you were 2 years old. Your mother asked me to protect you with my life. I made a promise to her that I would never break" 

"I'm going home" I say while walking away. Hearing the leaves crunch under my feet help me calm down.

  "Wait Venus you can't your in danger you have to stay hidden" 

"The shadow guards will catch you and you will be tortured to tell them what you have no clue of. So unless you don't want to get hurt come with me right now. You can't trust anyone right now it isn't safe." 

"How do I know you aren't a shadow guard?" I said hesitently said. I feel like I should believe him but if he says I shouldn't trust anyone why trust him then.
