"Are you kidding me? Why on earth is Elena tossing herself between Stefan and Damon. You really need to get some chill in your life, Elena.", Nolan exasperated as he clung onto the TV screen like it was the death of him.
He is so obssessed with The Vampire Diaries, good God.
"You need way more chill than she does. She broke up with Ian Somerhalder, by the way." I said, as a matter-of-factly.
And what came next felt like as if someone had pierced his balls with a dagger.
"WHAT?"
"That can't be true. They were in love, Iris."
His love for TVD was sickening. There were times when he would jerk himself off over 'Stelena' or 'Delena' love making scenes, as they call it, and just the thought of it made me feel like throwing up. Seriously, who does that? And this was Nolan Douglas, my best, and only friend at Oak Hill. We just hit it off on the right note. He was my neighbour in the dormitory till we hit our teens, but by the time we separated as roomies, we were close enough to be called 'the best friends'. Nolan was handsome. Like hands down beautiful. He had the perfect body, with a crooked smile resting over his lips always. His deep blue eyes were like a million galaxies merged into those two eyeballs. And as much as he was drool-worthy enough to turn any girl on, he looked gay-ish. To me.
He jerks himself over tv serials. He is DEFINITELY gay.
And he would flash his abs to me everytime i called him gay, "This shit right here.." he would feel his abs like gold biscuits, "aren't gayish, Iris."
"Whatever. You are still gay to me.", was my answer always.
Nolan had been into many flings, specially after he turned 17, even had two serious relationships but for now he thought it was time to step out of the game.
"I dont feel it, you know. ",he told me when we were sipping coffee in the living area on his 21st birthday.
I was his constant aid, through the pathetic break ups and hesitant confessions. We loved each other. It was amazing to have someone as him in my life. But we never looked at each other romantically. It was always the best friend way. And i was relieved that it has been this way since the last 21 years."Hey Cooper, Peppers has bought up that famous real estate company, the..-", he tried to recall the name.
"The Parkinson Brothers. I know.", i finished his sentence.
Toby Fitzgerald was the rightful owner of Oak Hill Orphanage. He loved this place and all of us just like his family. He was a generous human, with the mind of a businessman. We loved him right from the moment we understood what having a family meant. He had many business ventures up his sleeve, The Parkinson Brothers being one of his most ambitious takeovers.
He was called Peppers by us because he sprayed peppermint on a stranger's face who had tried to take me away when i was a baby. He loved me dearly. I knew i was his favourite child."He is throwing a party next week. Its a big catch he got, after all." , i said as i picked up my laundry.
"He is filthy rich. Like he could buy me all the Cadillacs and Maybachs in the world in the blink of an eye."
"Sure he would, but i think you'd have to stop jerking off of Elena."
"Shut up. And you know who is hosting the night? Raymond."
Raymond. I have heard this name.
"Don't tell it's the Raymond i dont want to hope he is.", i gasped.
"He is indeed. Our very own Raymond Williams."
God, hell no. He is back.
