Chapter Two

I woke up, it was Monday morning. I went to get ready for school. I put on my leggings with my brown uggs; i slipped on my white tank top with a light blue denium... I decided to curl my hair. i put on a dash of cover up and mascarea. I brushed my teeth, deciding if I should put eye liner. I took a last look at myself in the mirror.

"Yup, im good to go." i whispered to myself. I kissed Kevin goodbye as he frowned in disgust.

I walked out the door, I'm so glad summer season is almost over; i love winter. I just have my purse that carries all my school supplies. Since school was just down the block i just walked there. I disliked mostly everyone there. i only needed one friend in my life. As I was walking, I remembered my dream I had. The guy, who was that? It can't be Kevin, of course not. The guy was the perfect size, not too skinny and not too muscular. Is he my future love?

I get to my school, as usual, everyone stares. No one likes me because I'm "rude." I'm only rude, because the shit I've been through. So, I don't want to deal with anyone's shit.

I went to first period, as usual, boring. The teacher doesn't even teach well, but I'm lucky it's English! I sat down on my desk, the bell rang and everyone walks to take their seat. My best friend sits next to me.

"How was your weekend?" she knows how my weekend went it's like if she could read my mind. "Look, why can't you just leave that ass?!" she looked serious, she wouldn't keep her eyes off of me, even when the teacher tells her to pay attention. 

"B-Beacause, I just c-c-can't! It's hard!" i stuttered of nervousness. 

I just turned around, not wanting to deal with these questions, not what happened yesterday. I mean I had worse, but I'm still hurting. 

"I'm having a party at my house on Saturday, do you think you could make it... without any trouble?" Kevin would never let me go to a party alone. Unless I say I'm going to a sleepover with Shannon.

"Unless i lie saying I'm sleeping over your house to study for an exam.." her face went from serious to excitment. 

"OF COURSE! ANYTHING!" she screamed and students looked at us like we were on some kind of drugs. The teacher gave us a dirty look. 

"Sorry.." I giggled and looked away. 

I soon saw a note on my desk. I opened it from Shannon's retarded folding. 

it reads: "So, you'll sleepover. What if he checks up on you or spys?!" I froze, I didn't think about that.. I replied not knowing what I'm writing. "For checking up I could go into a quiet room and talk, and for spying we could make like a fake statue of us making it look like a shadow of us from the light.. IDK!"

I'm nervous to even thinnk about the consequences.. I looked at the time and we only have like less than 30 minutes. UGH! Shannon pasted the note unfolded. "THAT'S A GOOD IDEA!!" I smiled then I realized my nervousness.. "and after a couple of calls I'll tell him we are going to sleep." I was happy, i'm excited to go! Why can't Saturday just happen?! But nooo it has to be fucking Monday!

All this thinking made me hear bells ringing; until i realized it the end of class. i grabbed my things until I hear my name from behind me.

"Hurry up, Katherine!" Shannon yelled out!

"For that I'm taking my time!" I slowly walked towards her. 

"I was just kidding, sorry." I laughed and walked faster to her. 

"I can't wait til Saturday!" she excitedly kept jumping. 

"What kind of party is it, is it like a small get together, or a big one?" I tried calming her down.

"Well, I haven't thought about it. I guess a small one since you can't get caught." When she said that i felt like i ruined her plans.

"I'm sorry! I didn't want to ruin your night!" i almost teared.

"No no no, it's fine! I want to protect you from him!" I looked at her, she's an amazing best friend.

"You're amazing, I love you!" I hugged her from surprise.

Once I went to my second and third period, it was lunch. I met up with Shannon. We kept talking about her party. She only invited a few people; people I don't know.

"Oh, by the way, I'm going to have you meet a very sweet guy that's best friends with Joe." she turned her face, before she saw my emotion. 

"What?! I can't! You know that!" I was scared.

"I know! But Joe said that you two would be cute together!"

Joe was her twin brother who is one minute older. He's like a brother to me.

"Why does Joe want to help me?!"

"Because he found out about you and Kevin.." 

"w-what?!! H-H-H-HOW?!!"

"Your bruises.. he confessed me about it, but i denied it, He knows when I'm lying." 

"what happened?"

"He was pissed and went to the gym to take out his anger."

"Did you tell him recently?"

"Yes, but i had to tell him that it had happened in the past too."

The bell rang, it's going to be embarrassing around him now. I'm embarrassed of my story! I didn't want school to end..
