DAN:
I wandered through the unfamiliar corridors, imbecilic adolescences glaring at me with their judgmental stares. This was it; the most important choice of my life. How should I act? This would give all of my potential schoolmates a first impression, whether I was put into the popular category, the weirdo or the misfits. I bit my lip and sighed when I heard a teacher shouting "everyone into form rooms, registration in two minutes! Hurry up people!" the smell of mixed deodorants wafted through the air to my nose, and after wrinkling up my nose and looking up I realized everyone had vanished to their registration, and here I was, abandoned, with no idea where to go. Well shit.
What a fantastic route this first day is going.
I stood there for a minute, querying whether to walk to reception and ask about my form (though that would probably take more time to actually find reception and I would end up late for my first class and it would be a massive kerfuffle) or to just wander over to English so I was early for first lesson. I decided the latter. I took my first step in a random direction in which I hoped was the right way to English and SLAM. I looked up and there were a pair of mesmerizing blue eyes staring down at me.
"are you ok down there?" the owner of the eyes asked.
"uhm, yeah I guess. Sorry" I mumbled. In an attemot to scramble away unnoticed, i fell again with a thud just as the boy caught my arm and held my in position. His floppy black hair fell in a fringe over his eyes, contrasting amazingly with his marble skin. I was frozen, admiring his face when he looked confused and I realized he was talking to me.
"sorry?" I said, looking at my feet.
"I said, are you lost? You don't look faniliar. I'm guessing you're new.." he repeated. I shook my head and scampered off, trying not to make myself stand out. I was halfway down the corridor and turned back to look at him.
"actually, if you wouldn't mind, could you tell me where English 6 is? I'm a bit befuddled..." I called. His face lit up, and he laughed.
"sure! I'm going there now, so I'll take you. Also you're in the complete wrong direction!" he grinned. "I'm phil." he added.
"well hey, phil. I'm dan." I smiled. Phil took my arm and dragged my along through the winding corridors, chatting to me about random shit. He seemed... Nice. I liked him, anyway. Until... The bullys came.
