Welcome
Welcome to Writers of Tomorrow, an initially small group formed on the popular gaming website 'Roblox.'
At first the group started out with a select few ranks and a small number of people but, over the years, it has grown. During the summer of 2013 the group started to go through big changes. It started with large plans and soon changed into something much larger.
The ranks grew from the simple 3 tier to a collection of ranks and sub-ranks. Ranks became more defined and it became easier and more rewardable for a person to rank-up. Each rank also came with a set of three sub-ranks, defined by Bronze, Silver, and Gold. One also had the option to move to Pro-Writer or, if they wanted, to the Teacher's rank.
Moderators entered the group, just a step below the well-known yet sparse group of admins.
When all of this was announced a co-owner, or later to be Vice Owner, of the group was also planned.
Ranks
The Ranks would go as follow.
The group moved from three to five basic ranks.
The ranks would be as followed:
-Beginner
-Experienced
-Advanced
-Pro
-Teacher (An option for soon to be Pro-Writers.)
Another addition would be the group enforcers, or the moderators and admins. A Gold teacher or a Pro-Gold Writer may have the option of ranking up to be a moderator in training.
Beginner
The Beginner Writers were those who just entered. With every contest they placed well in, they would move up, gaining a medal. When they gained all 3 writing medals for that group, they would enter the Experienced rank.
A Beginner Writer could do little more than post on the wall and view shouts and the wall itself.
Experienced
The Experienced Writers were those who improved or simply proved themselves. They did not cause to much trouble. These writers constantly participated in prompts, at least three to five, and placed in one contest and/ or two mini-contests to earn a medal.
Experienced writers had the same privileges of a Beginner Writer.
Advanced
Advanced Writers had proven themselves to be talented. To gain medals they were required to place in two contests, or in one partner or WRITE-A-BOOK contest. They must actively participate in the group.
When they entered this rank they are allowed to post on the group status for prompts, one every two or three days. They may also advertise the group.
Pro
Pro Writers must place first or second in at least one contest and place first in one mini-contest or place in one contest. They must be active and kind.
When they earned this rank they are allowed to post prompts and host personal-contests (With the owner or vice owner's permission). They can associate their groups with the place.
Teachers
Teachers may help form contests and prompts. They must prove helpful as editors and at constructive-criticism. They must place in at least 2 mini-contests to rank up.
When they earned this rank they are allowed to post prompts and host personal-contests (With the owner or vice owner's permission). They can associate their groups with the place.
Moderators
Moderators in training may delete posts, can manage relationships with other groups, and view the group audit log.
Full Moderators may create group items and rank-up or down members.
Admins
Admins can ban members and configure group items other than their own. They may accept group join requests.
Vice Owner
The Vice-Owner holds the same powers as the group owner. They can, however, be over-ruled by the owner at times. If all the admins, half the moderators, and Vice-Owner disagrees with the Owner/Founder than they overrule her. Other than the Owner/Founder getting the last word, the vice and full owner co-own the group. They discuss most things.
Owner/ Founder
The Owner/Founder has all powers and, unless over-ruled by half the moderators, the admins, and her Vice Owner, the final word.
