Can't Hold Us {One Direction Fan Fiction}

Ch 1

Here we are. In London, England for the first time. My best friend and I are here taking a tour with our college to be, The University of London! How exciting! In exactly two months from now, London will be our new home for the next four years. And maybe even after that. You never know! College starts in a little over a year to be exact. I smiled in spite of myself. We have worked so hard for this, and to finally say we made it. It's unbelievable.

It was a dream of ours. We had always wanted to go to college together. And maybe even share an apartment. But that dream started to fade when we started hanging around with the wrong people our sophomore year. We did the things that we said we never would. Things along the lines of drugs, stealing, skipping classes, drinking, getting tattoos etc. It was absolutely a horrible time for the both of us. Our grades started falling, and that dream slipped away too. I dont know how we ever pulled ourselves out of it.

To make the long story short, we had turned around by the start of junior year of high school. And there was something inside of me, still wanting to be able to start fresh and have a new beginning where no one knew our stories or our dark pasts. And that is how I pitched my idea to Kirsten. We eventually asked our parents. They abslouley hated the idea. And they said they didn't trust us. They thought we would go back to our old ways. We begged and begged. In the end they had made us a deal. Thinking they had made it impossible. We had to get above a 30 on our SATs and so on, along with getting As and Bs for the rest of high school. And well, We pulled it off. We sent in our applications, and to our suprise they had accepted us. So here we are getting to start fresh!

"Hey Lis, Do you think we are going to run into 1D?" I turned to face Kirsten. I rolled my eyes. "I seriously doubt it. In a city full of THOUSANDS of people, probably not." I still cracked a smile. "But if we did..." I added on. "How fucking cool would that be!" "I know, to meet the sex gods..." I just laughed at her. "Then again who even knows if they are here!"

I turned to our school tour guide, trying to pay attention, but my mind kept wondering.  

So here we are. Nothign can stop us. No parents. No siblings. No stupid ex boyfriends. And no rules. Here's to our new beginning. This is my chance to turn my life around. This is my chace to find myself and to stop living in constant fear.  This is my chance to find the real me.
