Learning to Love the Assassin

•Chapter 8•

•Tyler's POV•

I can't believe I have an assassin/hunter mate! And she is a wolf too! Usually, when you become a hunter and are a wolf, your wolf goes away forever and you loose your mate. Is she hiding something? If she is, I need to figure out what.

I watched Chrys cry herself to sleep. Tears dripped from her face down on my chest and gave me sparks. Her scent changed from vanilla and tears to Vanilla and roses. Holding in all her tears made her scent like that, now they were all gone. I brushed her soft cheek with my fingers and traced her jaw. Her jaw clenched to my touch and released right away.

She was truly beautiful, she had the look of innocence of a kitten but she had seen and done so much more than I could ever imagine. When she thought I would hate her for being a hunter, I felt hurt and shocked. How could she think such a thing? I have to ask her when she wakes up. I pulled her closer and she snuggled into my side. My wolf purred and started talking.
'Oh, I could get use to this' my wolf, Ryker, purred again.

'I agree,' I replied and tangled my legs with hers.

'I talked to her wolf, Kyrn. She is like a bad girl but nice at the same time. She said Chrys was nervous about being your mate, make sure she has no worries," Ryker said and I got worried.

'Okay, I'll try. I gotta get some sleep, Night Ryker,' I said and cut connection with him so I could get peaceful sleep. I kissed Chrys's forehead, both cheeks, and her lips, then went to sleep.

•Chrystine's POV•

I felt sparks all over my body and face. Tyler kissed me and I squirmed a little. I went to sleep again and loved the feeling with Tyler next to me.

I woke up to see Tyler staring at me. I kissed him on the nose and got up from the bed.
"Good morning, love! What do you want for breakfast?" Tyler said and held my hand as we walked towards the bathroom.
"Um... A chocolate, Carmel, cappuccino nutrition shake with scrambled eggs?" I said because I was craving it. Tyler gazed at the floor and then broke his gaze.
"I mind linked Kayla, she is bringing one from her shop she owns, it is actually pretty funny that she owns a nutrition cafe thing," Tyler said and got out a pair of sweatpants and a smaller t shirt for me to wear. He also got out girly shampoo and conditioner flavoured Vanilla Pomegranate, deodorant, shaving cream and a razor.
"Take a shower or bath, and get ready," Tyler said and kissed my forehead and left. I turned on the shower and hopped in. I did everything I needed to and got dressed. I found some eye liner and mascara and put it on. I walked out of the bathroom with a towel around my head. Tyler looked up and down my body and kissed my lips.
"Come on, Kayla just got here," Tyler said and lead me down the stairs into the kitchen. 7 people were cooking breakfast and greeted us.
"COCO!" Said a little girl voice.
"Ro!" I said and picked her up."How ya doing?"
"I'm doing good! Can you teach me to fight like you do?" Rosa said and looked at Tyler.
"I think Chrys should teach all the kids self defence, maybe even our warriors," Tyler said and grabbed the shake from Kayla.
"I would love to, today we start!" I said and took a drink. "Tell everyone to meet in the field, make sure every kid 6 and up is there, even warriors."
"Yes Luna," Tyler said and laughed and drank his shake. I laughed with him and everyone laughed too.

I put on my suit and got ready to teach. Tyler said everyone was excited and ready. I walked onto the field to see around 100 kids talking and running around.
"Listen up! Just because I am Luna, doesn't mean I won't go hard on you." I screamed and everyone lined up. "I am Chrystine's Devon. Your Luna and now, Master. I will teach you how I was taught, let's begin with a simple right jab."

I helped many kids with getting strength in their punch and making it fast. Once I was done, I taught them a left jab. This process went on for an hour before someone spoke up.
"If you are so good at fighting, prove it!" A warrior said and pulled out a mat for fighting. I cracked my knuckles and my neck.
"Okay, who challenges me?" I yelled. A silence went over the crowd as a man stepped out from the Warriors. He was tall and had muscles. Not as much as Tyler though.
"I will, let's go Luna," said the man. I smirked and fisted my hands. A gun shot in the air signalling us to start. He threw the first punch but I dodged it easily. With my hunter abilities, I could read people movements easily. I kicked his knees then his stomach. I punch his jaw hard and heard a crack. I kicked him as he fell on the ground. He tried to dodge but I easily predicted everything. He surrendered and coughed up blood. The whole crowd was silent as I stretch out my back.
"Anyone else?" I said without breathing heavy like normal people would. The kids were amazed and the Warriors were scared.
"That was the best warrior except for Alpha, Beta, and Third. Luna, you are truly amazing!" A kid I recognised as Kyle said.
"Kyle!" I said and hugged him, Lucy came behind him and hugged my leg.
"So, your my brother's mate?" Kyle said and wiggled his eyebrows.
"Yup, and I am Crimsonblade," I said proudly.
"I'm so happy he found you, he would've gone crazy without finding you now, any longer without you, our pack would've been insane," Kyle said and looked around at the pack.

I looked around to and noticed how beautiful it was. Forest surrounded the community, buildings were in the centre of the large clearing. The pack house and Alpha house were next to each other. The hospital across from the pack house and a garden in the backyard. Across from the Alpha mansion was a pond with a bridge over the top, roses covered the bushes beside the trail. Small little houses sat behind the pond and hospital, I assumed they were used for storage or people from different packs to stay in if they were visiting. A large stone building was farthest away from the homes and other buildings. I recognised it as the jail and wondered what went on in their.

"This place is pretty amazing!" I said and saw Tyler coming towards me.
"I heard about the fight, he should've known better than to challenge Crimsonblade, stupid warriors and their big egos," Tyler said and kissed my forehead.
"I love you, Tyler," I said into his chest.
"Y-You love me?" Tyler choked out. I nodded and looked at the ground. "I am so happy Chrys! I knew it!" Tyler danced around with me. I laughed at his little outburst of happiness.
"You're too cute, Ty," I said and kissed his nose.
"I'm not cute, I'm either sexy or hot, not cute," Tyler said and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Fine, you are my mate, my hot mate, my hot as lava and sexy as heck mate," I purred into his hear.
"That sounds really nice babe. Let's go eat some dinner," Tyler said and pulled me with him to the pack house.
"Why do we have an Alpha house if we don't live in it?" I asked.
"Well, I am not officially Alpha yet and plus, I like living with the pack, I feel like they are safer."
"You really love your pack," I asked.
"Yes I do, but not as much as you. Rosa was telling me about how you kicked the warrior's butt and I fell into a deeper love, do you think I could maybe mark you?" Tyler asked and turned towards me, holding my small hands in his large hands.
"I-I don't know... I need to think, I'll tell you after dinner," I said and kissed his cheek.
"Okay, it's just my wolf is getting restless, he keeps on putting dirty images in my head, so tempting," Tyler said and I laughed.
"When can I meet your wolf, Kyrn really wants to see your wolf..." I said and kept walking.
"How about tonight? I want to see yours again," Tyler said and opened the door. I nodded and walked into the kitchen.

We ate pasta and talked about the ceremony for Luna and Alpha. After dinner, we walked to a clearing in the woods. I stared at the stars and Tyler laid down next to me. We laid in silence for an hour, just staring at the sky.
