Heroes Of Olympus: Greeks vs Romans

Chapter 1: The Encounter

- Jason POV-

With a Imperial Gold sword in his hand, he is ready to lead the Romans

Octavian (ugh, I know, I couldn't think of anyone else sorry) said he found strange water readings near the bay area, he was worried that Neptune was gonna cause an earthquake and destroy our camp , so I decided I would go check it out with Frank, the guy from 5th Cohort who really showed himself during the last War Games.

Frank and I searched the Bay area for a couple minutes

There was nothing unusual, except it was deserted, except for 2 teens surfing

-Percy POV-

Piper and I surfed until our hearts content

Me and Piper decided to go to the San Francisco Bay to try surfing there, in a perfect world, I would be doing this with Annabeth, but apparently she's busy or she didn't want to go to see her father, especially after what happened with Zoe, but Piper happily came along since she loved surfing and she used to do it with her dad, we heared the Bay was great for surfing, also no-one was around, maybe the mortal view us surfing as a hurricane or something since being the son of Poseidon made me AWESOME

anyway, when we stoped surfing, a blond dude in what looked like roman emperor clothing, I really had no idea, and a Chinese kid who looked not much over 16 or so, holding a bow, started walking towards us

"Hey! What are you doing?" The blond dude yelled at us

I uncapped riptide, the guy had a gold coin in his hand

"Not much, what's up with you?" Piper responded

"You'd better stop messing with the water, Neptune is gonna get pissed at you" he yelled

"Um...who are you?" I called

"I'm the Roman Prateor, Jason Grace, son of Jupiter, and this is Frank, the son of Mars, who are you?" Jason called

Piper whispered to me," wait, Romans in modern day are a thing?"

I shrugged "I'm Percy, the son of Poseidon and this is my friend, Piper, daughter of Aphrodite" I called

They muttered something like "oh great, a bad roman omen, a stupid graecus"

"You shouldn't be here" Framk said starting to approach us

It looked like Jason took the initiative and flew at me, luckily I sidestepped and he tumbled back towards the Bay, I ran after him, riptide in my hand,

-Frank POV-

As Jason charged the son of Poseidon, it left me standing there with the Cherokee girl, I didn't want to fight her

"You don't want to fight me? Do you?" Piper asked in a soft voice

A second later, she charged at me with a dagger, I sidestepped and stomped on her foot, hard, when she was charging me, causing her to fall on her face and drop the dagger

(Piper's charmspeak didn't work much on Frank because it was on the early stages, she hasn't completely figured it out and hadn't used it too much, plus, Frank was loyal to Hazel so he wasn't affected that much by Piper's charmspeak, plus Piper didn't have much experience fighting, but to Frank it was naturally because he was the child of war)

Frank proceeded to start shooting at Piper with his bow

Suddenly Jason came crashing towards him from a swing from Percy

Suddenly, he felt himself enlarged and become fuzzy

Apparently he was a bear now

(Since Percy didn't lose his memory, Frank didn't learn of his power, but still ended up returning the gold eagal with Hazel, but in this fight, he learns of his power and how when he is in a dangerous position, he can turn into anything, or maybe even anytime, on command if he masters it)

Frank was stunned and so was everyone else, however, Jason recovered the fastest,

He charged at Percy, obviously frustrated about being embarrassed by a graecus in front of his follower, however Percy simply sidestepped again, it looks like he had experience with people like Jason

"Um...you're a bear" she stated

"I can tell" I responded trying to act confident

"you're a talking bear" Piper complained

Before I could respond she said "don't worry I'll bear with it..ha...I've been hanging out with Leo too much... come on Winnie the Pooh"

I said nothing

-Piper POV-

I really didn't want to fight Winnie the Pooh

This kid seemed nice enough, and come on, he's a freaking talking bear! Who wouldn't want to be friends with Winnie the Pooh?

"So uh... you're a bear...and um...we're fighting" I checked

"Um...yeah" Frank confirmed "what's wrong?"

"Nothing" I said "it's just... you look so cuddly and warm...I don't want to fight you"

Frank blushed

Frank turned back into Frank

"Sorry" he said pulling back his bow and shooting an arrow

I easily dodged it

Now Percy and Jason were fighting near a brick warehouse, Percy was riding a swirling tower of water and Jason was flying, lightning thundered everywhere, it was hard to miss

On top of the wall, in the shadows someone stood, it was hard to make out who, but whoever they were, they threw a brick from the wall at Jason, which hit him in the face, dropping him, Percy lowered and caught him and placed him on the ground

Out of the shadows emerged a pale kid with black hair and a weak smile, wearing a black Jacket and jeans, with a Stygian Iron sword and a silver skull ring on his finger

"Nico" Percy said surprised "what's going on?"

"It's a long story" Nico said "give Jason to Frank and let them leave, pretend this never happened" he pointed to Frank "there are no Greeks, make up some believable story of why Jason is knocked out" Nico continued "or else" he pressed his blade at Jason's thought "understood?"

We all nodded

Frank rushed to pick up Jason and left quickly

"Anyone care to explain?" Piper charmspeaked

"Yeah, why let them just leave if you knocked out Jason?" Percy asked

" I couldn't let it escalate any farther, you guys could gave leveled the entire Bay, besides Jason wouldn't have agreed to it" Nico explained "there are no Romans, forget everything, let this go back to normal"

"Why?" Percy asked

"because this could escalate into a war that will kill hundreds of demigods, don't let that happen Percy"

"so wait, you knew about these Romans and didn't say anything?" Piper concluded

"Yes, and I kept it secret because I didn't want this to happen" Nico explained "just leave, nothing happened"

"Fine" Piper agreed

"Ok..." Percy agreed

Nico slipped into shadows and that was that
