"You rang?" I say answering my phone. Happy to take my attention away from the tests.

"Hey Lani,"

"Hey Chres wassup?"

"Um, are you feeling okay?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" 

"Like, nauseous? Throwing up? This that and the other?" He was a little hesitant.

Oh hell, did he know? "Um, no" I lied. "Why?"

"Well, Bina, the old receptionist, tampered with my condoms a while back. She wanted to have my baby but it didn't work so I was just making sure we're cool." He explained.

"Nope, I'm fine." I said before hanging up. This can't be happening. Like, of all people, my life is just so damn stupid and complicated. 

I did a silent prayer before pulling the test out one by one. I looked at the first one and it read positive. I could feel the tears falling as I began to pick up the second. Negative. I reluctantly picked up the last one and closed my eyes. When I gained enough courage I peaked at it. Positive. I sat it down and slid down onto the floor, bawling my eyes out. Why me? 

After a few minutes I cleaned up and went back to the hot tub where Jaden was waiting and I climbed in.

"Hey so I was thi--, what's wrong?" He asked. I just broke down in his arms. "It's okay baby, what happened?"

"I-I think I might be p-pregnant." I sobbed.

"I thought we already suspected that when you told me the pill might not have worked? And we talked about it. So why are you crying?" He asked kissing my forehead.

"I know, but." I wiped my face with a nearby towel and sniffled. "I had sex with Chresanto a few days before you and I did and he just told me his condom was tampered with." I finally said. 

I watched as his whole demeanor changed from comforting to devastation.

"Oh God," I said crying again. "You hate me,"

"No I could never hate you. I just, I just need a minute okay?" He said calmly as he hopped out and walked down to the beach. Nice, real nice.

"Xey, love, wake up." A voice said shaking me out of my slumber.

"Huh?" I mumbled, blinking. I looked around and noticed I fell asleep waiting for Jaden to come back. "What time is it?" I asked stretching.

"11:33"

Damn. He was gone for a whole 6 hours. "Oh. So where do we stand?"

"Where we were standing before. Nothings changed." 

I smiled. That's the best response you could receive.

"I have a few questions though." He stated.

"Alright." I replied.

"Did you lose your virginity to him?" He asked not meeting my eye.

"Oh God no," I exclaimed. "Trust me if I still had it, it would be yours."

He let out a sigh of relief. "Alright, well. Do you love him?"

"No. I mean, yea, but, not like that. Like a best friend."

"Wh-Why'd you do it?" He asked.

"I...I don't know. I was so sexually frustrated, and I had been since I met you but I wanted to wait. And then he comes an just gets me so mad, and, and I just couldn't take it. He just, did it. I didn't give him the say so but I didn't try and stop him either. And trust me, I felt so bad about it. Temptation isn't easy to fight."

He nodded and wrapped his arms around me. So we were laying, looking at each other, body to body. 

"What if, I am pregnant, but....it's not yours?" I asked the question I was dreading to hear the answer to.

"I'm gonna treat him or her like they're mine. You don't have to tell anyone and neither will I." He told me. 

"Okay. And what if he or she looks like Chres, then what." 

"We'll figure that out when we get there but for the time being. Lets enjoy our vaca. And please, no more what ifs." He stated.

"Okay. I can do that." I say giggling.

He smiled. "So, you know that glass shower in there? I just wiped it down." 

I raised an eyebrow, "yeah?" 

"Hell yeah," he said lifting me up bridal style and carrying me to the bathroom. We laughed as he cut on the water and we stripped. He looked at my boobs. "They're bigger."

"Yeah they are," I said laughing and walking into the steaming box. He walked in behind me and pressed against me. "Someones happy." I said.

He chuckled and kissed my neck.

"No, its your turn." I said turning around and kissing him. I kissed and bit his neck before kissing his sculpted abs.

I leaned back into him as he kissed my neck and we caught our breaths. Damn.

I moaned as I pushed off of him and grabbed my shower gel.

"I love you." I whispered lowly as I lathered up, wondering if he heard me. 

As we climbed into bed, he snaked his arm around me and pulled me closer. "I love you too."

When I woke up, I turned to see Jaden fluttering his eyes open.

He smiled. "Good M--"

Before he could get morning out of his mouth I was already leaning over the toilet, that ole porcelain throne. It felt like I was puking my guts out. When I was sure all the contents were emptied out of my stomach, I flushed and started brushing my teeth as Jaden appeared in the mirror, leaning against the door frame.

"Did my breath stink that bad?" He asked laughing as he grabbed his toothbrush and squeezed an ass of toothpaste onto it.

I shook my head as I gargled some Listerine.

"I know, I was kidding." He said as I spit.

"Oh," I said leaving to get dressed. Once we were both dressed I jumped on his back. 

"Where to captain?" Jaden asked laughing.

"You should carry me all the way to the parking lot. So we can go to the mall." I said reaching down to grab my phone.

"Sounds like a plan." He says grabbing his phone and key and heading through the door. 

As we walked through the lobby we got a lot of different looks. Some were like 'wtf' while others thought that it was cute. Either way, we didn't care, we were just laughing and joking all the way to the car.
