After the school day finished i met Erik at the main entrance of the school and we go to the busstop that we get on to go home, we stood waiting for the bus talking about london and how he misses it so much.
I dont blame him, anyone would rather live somewhere else than here.
The bus slowly arrived and a huge cluster of highschoolers huddled to get on and get a seat, the bus home is often a struggle because everyone tries to squeeze onto the bus at the same time and it doesn't really work out that well. After about 5 minutes of pushing to get on the bus me and Erik managed to get a seat next to one another.
The bus home only takes about 20 minutes but with it being filled with hyperactive trouble causing teenagers, it feels like a life time.
We were approaching the end of the bus journey and we could see our stop, so i press the bell. Me and Erik stand up and start edging past all the highschool pupils and we get off the bus.
I ask Erik where abouts his house is and he points to the house directly across from mine, were neighbours! I say happily.
We decided to go to my house because Erik was telling me how messy it was because they havn't fully unpacked yet and i didn't want to get in the way of his already stressed out parents.

We walk up my drive way and into my large victorian house where my mother was delighted to see that i had brought a friend over, for once.
Erik politely says to my mother
"hi, nice to meet you my family just moved in across the street"
"oh how exciting, new neighbours. I'll get to making welcoming cookies!"My mother gasps.
My mother often gets excited when new people move here because there's not alot of people in this area.
Me and Erik drop off our bags and we go up the hills to play.
