I open my eyes only to see that my reflection is unrecognizable~Unknown

After we got the last of the bags into the house, thanks to the kids help. We started categorizing everything by main course, appetizer, snacks, and of course dessert!

The guys were equally surprised when we pulled up at the orphanage, it could be because they didn't know there was an orphanage around here or maybe that I would take them there. While Marie was explaining to the kids why there was so much food and strangers in the house (I hadn't introduced the boys to the kids yet) I lugged the boys off to a corner of the house. Staring at me with quizzical looks I began to explain " She-she...I thought about this place when you said family Jack, they are closest to it they have done so much for me and I know every year has been so hard for them especially being in a home and food is so scarce sometimes.." I paused, finding solace in the ceiling ,I continued again "When I came here they made me feel like I was loved and that I belonged, these kids ..they don't know love but they will give you it, so I wanted to host this event here"

There was a silence that filled the air, after what seemed like eons the boys gave me a group hug that left me staggering for a second."Look I know we can be assholes sometimes, but we love you like a sister and we will treat those kids like our family would" then Grey hugged me tighter. "Come on Nico let's go cook some food" Jack spoke to me so smoothly as if I was going to cry while Dory smiled as they pulled away from the hug. But I was too strong for that and I would never cry Yea but you were close idiot, don't let them see.
Leading me back to the kitchen I told them to cook the side plates because I had to get the turkey. We may need the car, so I just ran to the apartments, it was 20 minutes away. But I made it in 10 mins because I had hacked into the computers when I was playing around and now I can control the stoplights whenever I want. It came in handy when I couldn't be late for something, or if I wanted to have some fun with the drivers.

After catching my breath, I climbed up the fire escape held onto the window below mine and gave myself a boost onto my window opening it I fell on my bed. Usually I left my window open in the morning and locked it at night If I had to leave I would lock it after and pick it to get in. Complicated, but it works.

I got my throwing knife..Salli.. it had a red engraving inscribed on the slick black handle.. I love knives and I often collected or crafted them. I don't know when or how I picked up the obsession over knifes but I always perferred them over guns, they gave a sense of sleekness. Easy to maintain and the kill or injury could be a clean cut, not messy and loud like bullets. Hardly I ever used a gun but when I did it was usually for fast safety. Before I started rambling on to myself I silently creeped forward to the door.

Cracking it slightly ajar, I slinked out and closed it back as fast as I could. Wow these walls are so dreary and tacky. As I creeped towards the corridor I wondered how those guys felt about their so called home. Stopping by the 1st door was Jack's room, he and Grey were the only ones that didn't share rooms. So I'm guessing they were the Og's or the 1st roomates. The others had bunkbeds or slept on the couch. Even though they were sweet at times I knew they needed serious help.

Are you really talking ? You should help yourself before you help others Kattie.....You're fucked up just like them...Shoot up and hurt others just like them...what makes you different anyways? Taking a deep breath I stopped.... I had promised myself that I wouldn't do that anymore. Remembering why I came to this basura(trash*remember she is Portuguese and speaks spanishhh soooo*) Grabbing my hubby I lead him out the door, and quietly shut it as to not disturb the guys from their slumber.

Living on the 2nd floor of a druggie apartment had its perks and it's disadvantages. Perks being when there where police raids it was mostly downstairs because they were too fat, too lazy to run up 25 stairs this and the fact that robbers usually looted downstairs occupants because they were easier to reach and escape. We never got targeted for a robbery after I messed that one guy up. He came in by the front door typical and mediocre of course and tried to steal a box with 2 gold necklaces bracelets. Grabbing my gun (illegal might I add and hard to attain) I sneaked up on him last minute and shot him in the leg. It was funny, he thought I was crazy but come on he was in a place trying to steal my prized possessions.
