Esa struggled furiously against the net, realizing she was fighting for her very life.
Four sleek, dark figures dropped into the water from above and reached their terrible cold hands out to restrain her. Their faces were covered in masks, their bodies an unnatural color of black. Who are these terrible creatures!? Esa panicked. Humans.
Esa had seen humans many times before, and she had been taught to despise and fear them since she was very young. "Help! Humans!" She cried the warning, but no one was around to hear her.
A fifth human came up behind with a large needle in hand. Esa's eyes widened in fear and she struggled even more, furthering her entanglement in the net.
A horrible pain shot through her when the man plunged the needle into her shoulder. She gave an ear splitting screech and clutched her arm.
Everything began fading into darkness, Esa's struggles became weaker and weaker. "Help...." She whispered.
"Help."
And then everything went black.
