The helicopter came out of nowhere. Neither Twelve nor Nine were afraid though. They knew what they had done was going to end up like this and they weren't going to fight it. Even though they weren't ready. Especially Twelve, him and his somewhat childish antics were something he did for the people he cared for most, Nine and Lisa. He was afraid to let it end. He laughed at the thought that even though he had only known her for such a short time, it pained him to leave her and the guy he loved as a brother.
He wondered if it hurt to die.
The wind was whipping is hair and clothes with a violent force. He could hear the helicopter's roar in his ears as it reverberated through him.
There was a gun shot.

Lisa was standing there frozen. She was afraid because a part of her knew what was about to happen but another part was still hopeful. The helicopter had appeared out of the sky and the roar of the wind was unsettling. She felt as if she could fly away at any moment.
The man named Kenjiro Shibazaki was yelling about negotiations but they seemed to ignore him. It was in this moment that Lisa knew what true unadulterated fear was. The two people to care about her and her for them were about to leave this world. The two people who gave her freedom were going to leave and she would be locked in her cage once again. her mind was screaming for her to say something but the words would not come.
She heard the gunshot.
Her mind screaming for her body to move but it wouldn't. The poor boy who gave her freedom would be dead in seconds.
She started to move. Running as fast as she could her legs moving as fast as they could carry her petite body. Her feet were pounding against the dirt.
Faster faster faster
She crashed into a soft yet muscular body just as the bullet grazed through her shirt.
She made it.
She

had

made it.
She looked down to see the mousy, fluffy brown hair and surprised expression of the boy she cared for unlike anyone else. She was not going to lie idle and let those boys die. She wasn't ready.
Her heart was pounding in her chest.

Twelve was looking at her with the most surprised expression. He didn't know what to do. He saw Lisa's eyes water and tears poured out of her eyes and landed on his face.
Why, he thought.
But he knew. The helicopter was still roaring and he heard Shibazaki shout to stand down. For once he thought that if there was a god then he should thank him because he had never been so thankful to be alive.
He sat up as Lisa climbed off and saw nine with tears in his eyes threatening to fall.
Nine then sprinted over and hugged not only Twelve but Lisa.
"YOU IDIOT LISA YOU COULD HAVE DIED." Nine yelled over the roar.
Twelve then did something no one expected, he laughed. He laughed and cried because he was alive and breathing. The smallest and most fearful person in the world saved him.
Lisa was still crying and hugged Twelve and Nine as tight as she could because those two idiots were not leaving yet.
When she let go the two boys looked at her and she at them. They were the best people she ever met.
The copter landed and out ran three officers with guns loaded yelling,"PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD."
They all suddenly felt very embarrassed. Like school children getting caught in the middle of a prank by the teacher.
All three did as they were told and then heard police sirens. Boy were they in for it.
Shibazaki yelled for everyone to put their guns down and listen to what he had to say.
He told the officers that in the attacks created there were no deaths. At all so the death penalty would be unjust.
While Shibazaki was speaking Lisa was listening with her head down and suddenly started to see black on the edges of her vision until she fell over unconcious.
Twelve and Nine yelled for her to wake up but she wouldn't. They breathed a sigh of relief when they knew she was alive. They could see her breathing but were still panicked.
Was she sick?
Did she get shot? But no blood was present.
It was eight hours later until she woke up in the police station with her, Twelve and Nine in the interrogation room waiting for questioning.
