Cathy's POV
My mom picked me up from school today, since my sister's gymnastics practice got canceled.
"There's a lot of traffic, more than usual, it may take longer to get home." She sighs.
"And I've still got to cook dinner." She honked and angrily at a man in a truck who speed in front of us, flicking us off as he drove."Some people have no manners." My 12 year old sister, Amy huffed from the back seat.
"Well there's nothing you can do about it, just don't cause any trouble with people like that." My mom explained to her.
We were almost home, then I saw the truck again, the man had some how went around and is now on the same road we are, except he's going the wrong way, right towards us.
All I hear is screams of horror, then before I can blink again, everything goes dark.

Elliot's POV
I hear my phone buzz, it's Jean so I pick up.
"Jean, have you heard from Cathy I haven't been able to get a hold of her she hasn't answered my texts or calls?" But the voice I hear is not Jean's but Leo's
"Elliot, listen I have something to tell you." She sounds in tears.
"Leo is everything okay?" She is starting to scare me.
"No, Elliot it's not." That makes my stomach do flip flops.
"I hate to tell you this Elliot but..." then there's a long pause, every second the silence goes on the scarier it gets.
"Cathy was in a car accident."
No she can't be dead, please, please please, tell me she's not dead.
The voice in my head was starting to tell me.
"Cathy is in a coma." Leo could barely speak, she was sobbing after each word she said.
Tears were starting to come to my face too, I hung up on Leo and grabbed my jacket, I was going to the hospital.

When I arrived I didn't even know what floor she was on, I ran as fast as I can to the lady at the desk.
"Can you please tell me what floor Catherine Burns is on." I was still crying in shock.
"Floor 7, but young man please don't run." The old woman from the back told me. I nodded and walked as fast to the elevator, not even waiting to see if more people wanted to come on.
I hit to button for the 7th floor, as the elevator rose I started pacing, wondering if I'm ever going to see her beautiful, sparkling eyes, if I'm ever going to see her smile, and if I'm ever going to talk to her again.
When the elevator doors opened, I looked over at the waiting room to see Leo and Jean.
"Where's Cathy?" I was more anxious then ever to see her, to see if she was okay.
"The nurse said she wasn't allowed any visitors, but would let us know when she was."
Then she leans over and whispers.
"Jean's not taking it well, nobody is but she hasn't said a word since the nurse sent us to the waiting room and she hasn't looked up once either." She nods her head over towards Jean, who sitting in one of the chairs with her head in her hands.
"I'll see what I can do." I told Leo as I walked over to Jean and sat in chair next to her.
"Jean, you have to listen to me, Cathy is going to be alright." I was trying thing to make her believe me, but it was really hard when I was barely believing myself.
She still didn't look up, or say anything, she was still softly sobbing, which made me start to sob too. I just kept asking myself this.
Is Cathy going to be okay?
"Elliot, listen," Leo said kneeling down next to me and Jean. "everything is gonna be ok. We just have to be strong. I bet she'll be awake before we know it." Leo said reassuringly, but she was still crying.
She has to be ok.
