Forgotten Past

Aphmau's POV

I wake up in the woods not knowing why i am here. I wonder where i am at. I begin to start walking in a detection where i seem to see light. I approach a gate of a town with my sword and shield in hand (the only thing i seem to own at the moment) i see a man that looks quiet older than me with a helm on approach the gate, i grip my sword and shield tight and try not to seem scared or frightened but in reality i'm terrified. he approaches the gate.

???: "who are you? we have never seen you in or near this town."

I look up at the top up of the gate and spy a sign that states "Phoenix Drop" i assume that they are the name of the town.

???: "i will ask once more. Who are you?"

Aphmau: "my name is Aphmau, i am 18 and i am looking for a place to stay and i stumbled upon your village and was hoping to stay here but it is fine if i cant i believe i know the way to another village from here."

The man seemed to relax once i said this because i could tell by his shoulders. The man then said "You may come into our village of Phoenix Drop but please don't have any conflict." He says this then i glance at my weapons and i put them away. The man then opened the gate and i walk slowly behind him as he walks closing then gate behind us. I'm confused, scared, cold, and my head is throbbing with pain as he leads me to a small home next to a wheat farm. It has a bed, crafting table, and a furnace its decent but i would like it bigger. "i'm sorry for the inconvenience the village numbers have been decreasing since our lord had passed" he said, i could tell it was a touche topic because i could see him become slightly depressed. "its fine." is say " i can tell that you don't want to talk about it." He says thank you and begins to walk off but then turns around says "oh ya, my name is garroth." "nice to meet you, garroth." i say this and smile and he walks off.

Garroth's POV

I walk off to the small guard tower thinking about her brown eyes. i honestly think she believes i'm older than i am because everyone thinks i am around 25 but i'm only 20 because i wear this helm for my... "reasons". As i walk up to the roof i notice that the girl aphmau was her name was fixing the roads and adding stairs i watch closely and observe her. I can tell soon the people in the village will begin to call her the new lord and at this point in time i believe that is not a good thing. As i watch her a little longer i see her go and try to find some more materials and i hear a faint scream and run twords it sword in hand.

A/N:Hay guys first chapter of my book and it is my first book i hope you guys still like me after this cliff-hanger. :D Don't worry i will post tomarrow.
