Chapter 26. First Date

Its been a long time since I last updated my stories.

Annie's POV

Today, Im preparing for my date with Niall. We're still not official. But Im happy that we have our 'girl/boyfriend-like-thing' back.

I have no idea on where we are going but Im sure Im going to like it. Hell! Its Niall. By just being with him makes me happy.

For example is yesterday. Gaahhh. 

Remembering it gives tingles to my body. He's so sweet, making me remember how he asked me to go out on a date with him.

We arrived at my house and we are currently watching some random show. Suddenly, he's phone rang.

"Hello... No ... Im with Annie ......... Long story ....... Why? ....... Should i really ........... It is? ....... Okay .... whatever ........ Bye .."

"What was that?" He remarked right after the person on the other line hung up.

I shrugged and asked him "so what happened?"

"I got to go, something important. I dont know what." He sighed and he continued "but I'll see you tomorrow right?"

"Yeah." I smiled at him.

"Its a date"

"Yeah" as I lead him to the door "see you tomorrow?"

"Bye. See ya?" As he gave me a peck on the lips.

I waved goodbye at him and he returned it. I closed the door and cheered by jumping on the sofa in joy.

"I have a date with Niall" I shouted throughout the living room of my house. Good thing my dad and brother wont be here until the day before my flight.

I decided to wear pink shorts and white sleeveless button-up blouse. It has a light-pink collar and whitish pink buttons. And now for the accessories. For my necklace, I wore a long necklace that goes below my chest, composed of small pearls and one small white daisy along with it. And or my earrings are a pair of white daisy. For my bracelet is a also composed of small beads and a smaller daisy unlike the one in necklace.

Now for my hair and make-up. I curled it so that it can go amazing with a bun. Its not a messy bun. You know the formal buns used by stars when they are going to a formal party or on a red carpet event. Yeah, that's the one. And I put a white daisy clip on the left top of it. Now for my make up. I put on light foundation and light blush-on. Then brown eyeliners. Now for the mascara. And for the finishing touch is my strawberry flavored lip-gloss.

I looked at myself in the mirror. What can I say, I look cute. If you don't know me, you will think Im a girly-girl who loves daisies. You should always look stunning on a date.

Niall said he will pick me up at 4 o' clock and its already 3:45. It still have 15 minutes to look for the perfect shoes for my outfit. I searched the closet of my shoes and sandal and etc. I found a slightly golden sandal that forms an upside down V. I wore it and Im ready to go. Wait, I forgot my bag.

I looked for my small side bag which has the same shade of my sandals. I put my phone, lip-gloss and wallet inside it.

I looked at my watch and it says 3:58. 2 minutes. I went downstairs and checked my reflection one last time on the full-length mirror in the living room. Perfect.

The door bell rang at exactly 4. I opened it and greeted him with a simple "Hi"

He smiled at me and returned a "Hello, ready to go?" He asked while holding my hand.

"Yup" I replied cheerily.

"We're going to walk. If its okay?" He asked. I looked at him and smiled "of course"

We walked and I asked him "where are we going?"

"I don't really know" he smiled sheepishly.

"What a great idea Horan" as I jokingly punched his shoulders.

He smiled at me and we continued walking. He stopped and I stopped. An Ice Cream Parlor. Really?

"Let's go inside" as he opened the door for me like a gentleman

I entered and he followed. We walked towards the counter and the girl in the counter greeted us "Hello! What is your order?"

"I'll have the, cookies n' cream the one with the wafers, chocolates and Oreos" I replied.

"I'll have the same" Niall said.

"So, I've been thinking lately. Have you been back in Ireland since you left?" He asked after we find a table.

"Nope" I answered simply without looking at him instead I looked outside the window wondering how come I haven't visited Ireland in years.

"How come?" He asked.

"I don't really know." I looked at him. "I guess it never came to me"

He made the 'ohh' sound and I continued "and maybe I don't want to remember the past. You know, when you didn't call me and stuff." I sighed and the waitress came.

She gave us our orders and Niall spoke "well, past is past and never be discussed"

"But you have to remember the past so that you will learn from your mistakes, right?"

He nodded and smiled. After we finished or ice cream. We left.

"Where to next?" I asked.

"Park? Mall? Arcade? I dont know. You pick" he shrugged.

I smiled at his weirdness but thats what I like about him. "Arcade sounds good".

"Then arcade it is!" He remarked in his announcer voice that made me giggled.

We arrived at the arcade and played some random games such as racing, drumming, basketball and we even entered a karaoke booth and he sang WMYB and I sang WANEGBT.

"Im tired" Niall whined. I rolled my eyes and saw it.

"Oh My God! Niall Lets go there. Please" I give him the best puppy dog eyes I can do and he smirked at me.

"What? Just dance? Bring it on" as we walked towards the wii.

We danced and danced and danced. We finished 6 songs and I won 5 times while Niall only won 1 time,

"You're a girl" he said.

I grinned at him "you're just jealous that I won"

"Yeah, yeah. Now let's head home" as he intertwined his fingers with mine. I smiled at him and we walked.

We reached my house and I looked at him "Wanna go inside for dinner. Its already 8?"

"Nahh. Im fine. There's food at the hotel and Annie." He suddenly looked at me with serious eyes "I have to tell you something!"

"O-okay! Lets come in first" I said. I wonder what he is thinking. Im scared of what he will say to me. I wonder what it is cause he is suddenly dead serious.

We sat on the couch and he started "I dont want to tell you this earlier cause it might ruin the fun. And make you worry. We have fun right? I mean-"

I cut him off "Yes, I have fun. Today was amazing by the way. Thank you. Now continue"

He continued "----------------------" but I didn't expect what he said next.
