Today started as a normal day, the sun shined and the birds sang. That's how I knew it was going to be a really half assed day. But it turned out much worse than just half assed. By looking at the chapter title you can probably think about what will happen next; Oh! Her mom or dad was just cooking and the food burned! Or some random guy came around and had a HUGE grudge on them so he lit their house on fire! No. Not even close. This fire was a true tragedy. The thing is, when you thing of tragedy, you think of something un forgivable. But in this case, it's in forgettable.

Actually I was walking home in my most favorite pink summer dress. I had just spent the night at my friends and I didn't have a bag so I used my big red wagon. I was walking down the dirt road when I heard, well, nothing. I heard nothing because my brain had gone numb at the sight of my own home in flames. I did not hear screams from the people inside, just the crackle of all the furniture burning. I was only twelve at the time. So I quickly ran inside and started to think: Is this wise? Is it even worth it to try and save them? What if I don't succeed? But then I fell into the depths of darkness. The smoke must have caught up to me.
