*Danny's P.O.V.*
Okay, I have the suitcase and the tickets too. I looked around my room and I was ready to go. I had my jeans and red knitted sweather on. I got my things and the tickets for Paul and I. As soon as I got that, I went out of my room and into the living room. "Mom?" I yelled out, and I looked around to see if anyone was there. No one or nothing but a note on the door.
Danny
Hello, I'm so sorry that I can't say goodbye to you now that you'll be leaving to see your friend with Paul. I hope you guys have a good trip over there in Cali. I love you! Take care and have fun!!
MomWell, she isn't here. I got the keys to my car, and I locked the door. I got into my car and I called Paul. He didn't answer. He probably was in the shower.
I started the car engine and I began driving. It was a little cloudy but it was warm outside. A few minutes later, I got in front of his house and I waited a bit. Paul didn't come out yet. I took my phone out and called him again.
"Hello?"
"Dude, are you ready? Are we gonna get breakfast before we go?"
"Yeah I'm ready... but uh..."
"What Paul? Are you still looking for something?"
"Danny, I'm ready, but it's just that... I-I just can't find the tickets though."
"Paul, I have the tickets."
"Oh... oh okay, I'm going, I'm going."
"Okay. Hurry up dude."
As soon as we hanged up, I saw him lock the door. He had his gray joggers and a black shirt on with his ridiculous suitcase, which was a normal one but I would make fun of him because of it.
He smiled and took off his sunglasses. I smiled and he put his suitcase in the trunk and opened the door. "So, where do we go?" He asked. I sighed and looked towards him, and thought. I hadn't had breakfast and well, there weren't weren't a lot of fast-food restaurants that sold breakfast.
"Umm, McDonald's?" I asked, hoping he would say yes, I didnt have anymore ideas. He nodded and put on his seatbelt.
We went through the drive-thru and ordered our breakfast. Surprisingly, it didn't take as long as the other times.
We got at the airport around 8:45 and we threw away our trash over there since we had breakfast in my car. We had everything ready, so we gave our tickets to the lady and said we were on time.
We walked down a long hall and took off things that were in our pockets and put them in a little plastic box. I felt awkward taking away all of my belongings and placing them somewhere else. I sighed, and we passed through a metal detector thingy and we got our stuff back.
