Meet Up

"France, what did Sir Vhong tell us to do again?" Alex asked, looking down at the objects in front of her. "I don't remember. I think we should paint on a canvas?" Frances replied, not paying attention while looking at her canvas as well. "We have to paint anything inspirational on the canvas." Patrick said. "Does that answer your question, Frances? Alex?" Fred asked. "Yup." The two girls chorused. "Um, Alex? Who are you texting?" Frances asked. Surprised, Alex dropped her phone and said, her hands raised for defense, "no one. No one you know."

Patrick picked up the phone and read the conversation, eyes wide open. Alex removed her glasses and face palmed. "Why are you and Carl going to Starbucks?" Patrick asked. Alex put on her glasses and said in Spanish, "porque fuiamos invitados por Juliana y Kenji. Ha pasado tanto tiempo desde la última vez que vimos a pesar de que era sólo el año pasado! Y yo quería hablar con Kenji acerca de los juegos de video y ni siquiera fui a la graduación."

"Oh, so you two were invited by Juliana and Kenji. And it's been so long since you two last saw them though it was just last year. And you wanted to talk to Kenji about video games and he didn't go to graduation?" Frances clarified. Looking at Frances with a shocked expression on her face, Alex replied, "Yeah." Alex didn't notice the disappointment and jealousy on Frances' face.

After Art Club, Alex met up with Carl on the blue bench, wearing her glasses, a sleeveless cherry blossom dress, a cobalt cardigan, and pink flats. Her hair braided on one side, and untied on the other side. "How formal. You know, we're just going to meet the two in Starbucks and watch a movie, right?" Carl said. "Don't tell me that, Juls said Kenji is wearing a tux." Alex said. "Ok, and what's with the purple bag with a diamond on it?" Carl asked as they were walking to the gate. "Rarity inspired. I like your shirt." Alex said.

They didn't know that Frances was following them.

When they reached Starbucks, Juliana was sitting inside alone, Kenji's bag beside her. "Where's Kenji?" Carl asked. "Right here." A voice behind the two said, surprising Carl who fell down as Alex laughed her head off. "I...I-I-I c-c-can't bel-l-l-lieve you f-fell!" Alex said through laughter. "So, we're just gonna buy some drinks here, food in Pancake House, and go to Alex' house?" Kenji asked. "Yeah, what time is it?" Carl asked as Alex was helping him up. "Um... 5:35" Kenji replied. "Ok, Kenj—" Juliana was cut off by Carl who said, "hey, I thought Kenji was wearing a tux?" He looks at Alex who was snickering. "Man, you are so gullible." Alex said, still snickering.

After buying food and drinks, they all rode a jeep to Town&Country.

Carl, remember when me and my friend Stephen called you to our classroom on our xmas party? Hehe, it was... um... my idea to drag you there. Don't murder me.
