Girlfriend?

"I really think this is cliché." Alex said. "How come? It's sweet that they're singing in each other's arms." Frances said. "That's the cliché thing! I've watched stuff with a people singing in each other's arms." Alex said. "Example?" Kenji said. "You and Carl singing in each other's arms in that play last year." Alex said. "And my classmates' drama, performance task, and a video they made just for fun. And there are probably other movies with this scene. I'm saying it, this is bullcrap." "Agreed." Juliana said.

"Um... Frances, can I talk to you outside? Just, you and me?" Carl asked nervously, standing up and then walked outside. "S-sure..." Frances said, following him. "Oooooh. It seems like there's Carlces afoot. Right Lex?" Juliana said, elbowing Alex. "Yeyah! Right, Kenj?" Alex said, elbowing Kenji. "Y-yeah..." Kenji said quietly, obviously jealous. Then they heard the question.

"Frances, will you be my girlfriend?"

Once they heard it, Alex and Juliana started screaming and fangirling while Kenji was tearing up. "Frances say yes!!!" Juliana and Alex screamed. "Yes, Carl! I will be your girlfriend!" Frances said happily. "She said yes!!!" Juliana and Alex cheered.

'We're best friends! How could he just ask Frances to be his girlfriend?! I'm closer to him! And how dare Frances say yes. This has to end! And I don't care if their relationship just started. But I need a plan. Alex is good with these things. I just have to convince her.' Kenji thought.

Alex went out to pull the new couple in. "Guys!!! Carlces is canon!!!" Alex declared, putting her arms around the two. Juliana clapped but Kenji stayed quiet, glaring at the couple.

"Dude, aren't you proud of me?" Carl asked. "Oh, I am. Of course I am bro!" Kenji said, fake smiling. "I know that smile. It's fake." Alex said, looking Kenji in the eyes. 'Damn, she's good.' Kenji thought.

"Anyway, I'MMA ORDER MORE ZZAH'S AND WANGS!!!" Alex yelled, ordering more pizza and wings.

While they were waiting, Kenji decided to pull Alex out of the room. "Dude, where the fudge are you gonna drag me to?" Alex asked.

When they were outside, Kenji told Alex his plan.

I know this is a short chapter. The next one will [probably] be long. Oh yeah, I could add new characters. I just dunno who to add. Any ideas, Juls?
