A/N HELLO! I started this fic becuase I had this phanfiction idea that originated from when I was a young phangirl (my father took me into the city to see a marching band) (I am verry sorry) and I needed to get that out of my system. This is a deformed version since the first one was very cringeworthy. There will be changes of pionts of view.

I slowly realize the bleeping sound from nowhere in the strange dimension I was in while I was dreaming, actually originated from my alarmclock. I looked over. "6:30 AM" was displayed on my alarmclock. I stood up and was immediately greated by my dog, named Apollo. I bent down to pet my dog, while looking around in my small apartment contently, looking at the walls I had painted yesterday. They were a pastelly shade of turquoise, and I was extremely happy with how it turned out. I checked my phone to see if anything happened while I was asleep. I opened a few snapchats, and responded with several ugly faces, until I noticed the little clock displayed in the right corner of my phone. "5:38 AM".
I looked up to my alarmclock confusedly, and then I realised I actually still had it set in Dutch timezone, instead of the English one. I sighed, as I opened the curtains to release the first fragments of the sunlight into my room. It was a slightly warm morning in July. I ate some cereal, and as I didn't know how to spend my time before everyone else in London woke up, I decided to go on a walk with my lovely dog, as I discovered the way to Hide Park yesterday. I figured Apollo would like to discover that, as he had to get used to this city as much as me.
At 6:10 in the morning, I released Apollo from the leash and let him go wherever he wanted. I sleepily walked behind him, but this little boy was full of energy, and started walking around excitedly.
I heard some barking in the distance, aswell as Apollo, whose head peaked up, and he started running towards it, with the speed of light. It took me a moment to realize what happened, before I started running after him. "Apollo, wait!" I exclaimed as I could barely keep up with him. In the near distance, I saw a tall figure with another dog on a leash trying to resist running towards me.
As we approached the figure with the dog, it became clear that he was a tall man in his twenties. He was wearing a colorfull jacket with the zipper open to keep himself warm enough in this slightly chilly morning.
The next five minutes were filled with Apollo smelling and running around with another dog, while I stood with my hands in the pocket of my jacket, standing next to the owner of the golden retriever. He had that black floppy hair, and was a little taller than me. As it was kind of becoming awkward, and I looked aside, while the man was still contently watching the two dogs. I decided to start some small talk. "Well, I've never seen him this interested in another dog before." I said, looking at the guy next to me. I don't know how or why, but he did seem slightly familiar. Maybe he just looked like someone from my elementary school or something. I decided not to make a big deal out of it. "Me neither, actually." Said the guy next to me with the pale face.
"Oh, God, Phil! There you are!" I look behind my back, and notice another tall man in his twenties walking towards us, out of breath. So his name is Phil, apparently. It kind of has a wierd tone, that name. I know a lot of people are named Phil, but it still has something unfamiliar attached to it, which makes it unique.
He was a tiny bit taller and had a brown fringe flopping over to the other side. He looked a bit like the Phil guy standing next to me. He also looked quite familiar, but that might just be because he looked a bit like the other guy he just called, I guess.
He put his hands on the shoulder of the guy next to me, and looked down at the two dogs playing around. They both looked like I should know them, but I couldn't really put my finger on it, and it was starting to become mildy annoying. It's like you can't remember the name of that one actor. I just decided to shake that thought off, once again.
"Has Athene found a new friend?" Said the man with his hand on Phil's shoulder. Wait. "Is the dog named Athene?" I asked. "Well, yeah. We found that a soothing name for her, partially because it's cute and partially because of the greek mythology." The guy with the floppy brown hair said. "Yes, mine is called Apollo, for pretty much the same reasons." I said. "That's so cool!" The guy named Phil exclaimed while his face lit up.
"My name is Phil, nice to meet you by the way!" Phil said while sticking out his arm to shake my hand. As I did so, I noticed how soft they were, and I was kind of embarrassed about my dry and bony hands. "My name is Iliane, nice to meet you too!" I said. As this was the first time of me properly looking directly into his eyes, I noticed he had those icy-blue-ish ones. I introduced myself to the other guy, who apparently was named Dan.
"Iliane, that's an unusual name." Dan said. "Where does it come from?" Phil said. "It's a Dutch name, I actually just moved into London from Holland." I said. "Oh that's quite rad, what brought you here?" Dan asked. "Well.. " I said as I was about to start on a subject I am super excited about. "I am a script writer and director, and as I published a new script a few months ago, a theatre group in London noticed it and asked me to direct it aswell, as their dircetor has retired last year. I am basically here to expand my skills, after several years of experience back in Holland." I said and smiled. "I am quite passionate about it." I said. We talked a bit more, until we noticed Apollo and Athene had calmed down, and Dan and Phil suggested to have a coffee in a cafe nearby.
Half an hour later, we were sitting in a cafe with our dogs and a few cups of coffee, and we were talking about things we do. "So what do you guys do for a living?" I asked. "We are professional vloggers." Dan said, as he put his arm around Phil. "Oh yeah I see, I do follow a few of them. I really like Carrie Hope Fletcher." I said. "Yeah, she's a lovely girl, I collabbed with her once." Phil said.
Finally everything clicked. "That's where I know you guys from! You've collaborated with her!" I exclaimed and Dan started laughing. "We did, we did that quite some time ago. We currently live together in our own apartment, living of youtube." Dan said smiling. "Oh cool! Is that also helping with a few things, as you are both doing the same job in the same environment as friends?" I asked. Phil chuckeled. "Well, yeah, as a couple who does the same job, living together is making the relationship stronger aswell as helping with our youtube videos, yes." He explained.
It is indeed slightly awkward how Phil just casually had to come out right there with Dan. I hope they don't suspect me of homophobia or being extreemely heteronormative, I just don't assume people are couples because I am not really into that myself. I'm just hella asexual.
"Cool, since when have you guys been together?" I ask casually. "We are seeking our sixth anniversary, actually." Dan says, a bit excitedly, while Phil smiles at him. They're such a couple, how come I haven't noticed yet? "How is the LGBT+ representation on youtube, actually? I don't really watch a lot of queer youtubers, and I haven't really noticed anything LGBT+ related there." I ask out of pure curiosity. "There are a lot of channels out there, and a lot of LGBT+ youtubers who make video's about it, without their entire channel being involved around it. We personally don't participate in the LGBT+ side, because we have chosen not to involve our sexuality in our content. We aren't out as a couple on there either." Phil says. "How is the ace representation out there?" I ask. "Are you ace?" Phil says. "Yes." I answer simply. "Awesome, I'm pan!" Phil says before high-fiving me and taking his phone and opening the youtube app. The rest of our visit to the café is filled with searches to ace channels, jokes, funny anekdotes and other channel recommendations.
Before I go home again, around 10 AM, we decided to give each other our phone numbers. I guess that's a thing you do when you really want to remain friends. Oh God that's so awesome. I'm barely here for a few days and I already have made friends. I grab my phone, and install them on WhatsApp.
Iliane: Hey! I had a great time with you guys in the café!
Dan: Me and Phil enjoyed it too! Maybe we could meet up at the entrance of the park with Athene and Apollo again tomorrow morning:)
Phil: Yes! But please not as early as this morning ~.~
Iliane: How about 8.30?
Phil: Perfect.
Phil: How do you spell your name? Probay not Iliyana... ○~○
Dan: Ilyanah maybe?
Iliane: Guys! Oh god I actually snorted xDD
Iliane: It is just Iliane :3I look at their adorable profile pictures. This day has had a good start.
