It All Started With A Neon Themed Party

Chapter 1 : Just girls being girls

" Girl , get up from that vanity and let's go to the party already ! I'm dying to see all those hot guys there ! " whined my best friend Jennifer . " Okay Okay Jenny , we have to look hot too so don't mind me " and I turned at winked at my best friend.

Well it was a Friday night and us being 18 year olds , were preparing for a party. Jenny and I loved parties and tried to attend every single one we hear of. You could call us the party animals. We were both models as well which means we have a lot of people checking us out everywhere we go and we get plenty of invites. Thus leading us to another party like today's.

I applied my lipstick and stood up from my vanity and did the duck face. And yes I took a selfie or more like 100 selfies haha. Hey hey don't judge. As much as I'm vain , I'm actually kind and compassionate. I help the poor and the orphans every week and donate. That's because I was once those poor kids who had nothing to survive with.

*flashback 8 years ago*

"Please give me food. I'm very hungry. I have no money and my family needs food. Please help" , I went around begging the passersby for food.

Many of them just ignored and walked past me. But there was this one lady passer by who came and kneeled and looked at my face and held up my cheeks in a soothing way and smiled at me sincerely . I was shocked. This passer by spoke , still looking into my eyes saying , " Dear Little Angel , Let me help you and your family. You're really beautiful and it hurts to see you begging on the streets. You can be a model and earn lots of money my dear. I can promise you will have plenty of money to help your family. Let me speak to your parents , I'll explain to them. "

I sobbed and said " m-m-yy p-p-parents abandon me when I was 5. I-I have a younger brother who is the only one I have in my f-family "

" Oh dear , I'm sorry. Come on , I'll take care of you and your brother from now onwards. You will be happy don't worry. And I have a daughter your age that can be friends with you and a son that can be friends with your brother . "

Yes , that's right , Jennifer is her daughter. And I'm living with them in their huge mansion. Jennifer's mum , is my manager and Jennifer's manager is her mum's best friend Jessica. My brother and Jennifer's brother , who is like a brother to me , are both actors. Not just television drama actors, they are Hollywood actors who act in movies. Jennifer's mum , Rosie , helped my brother and I so far and I'm so grateful for her.

*slips out of flashback*

"Kezia , LET'S GO NOW ! I can't hold it any longer. I wanna get loose at the party , " shouted Jennifer. I chuckled and nodded and we both walked down stairs and put on our heels and walked out to my car. My baby as I call it. My Porsche. It was a beautiful navy blue Porsche. Rosie got it for me on my 18th birthday which was just 10 months ago.

I immediately sat in my driver's seat and waited for Jennifer to come. She was still at our door talking to Rosie about some issues that she'll need to settle when she's back. I looked at my best friend and gave a smile even though I was sure she didn't see me as her back was facing me. She was tanned and had beautiful legs with black hair that curled so perfectly. She was wearing a neon yellow dress that accentuated her curves. Since we were going to a neon themed party , we had to be dressed in neon colours. So I was wearing my neon blue while she wore her neon yellow.

The weather felt perfect and I had a wonderful feeling about this party. Jennifer plopped down on the passenger seat next to me and we waved at Rosie .

" Well Jenny , let's get to the party now aye ", I said and winked at her.

" OHMYGOD Yes ! Like finally ! And what's with your winking. Like you keep doing that since we were 12 " she exclaimed and then pouted.

" It's my signature move , darling " and I winked at her again causing her to scowl and then laugh as we drove to the party.
