Luke is right, she loves me. But I'm not ready to be a dad. I can't let her down. Maybe let her stay with Luke for a bit and she'll realize she needs him and not me. No. She wont do that. She loves me. Fuck. I'll be ok. It'll be ok. I can do this.
"Jai baby!" She sings walking in the front door. She just got home from shopping with the guys.
"Up here." I yell. I don't know what to do, i can't lead her on.
"Hey babe." She smiles her warm smile. She's so cute, she's a cute pregnant woman.
"Hey." I walk up and kiss her. What? It's a habit.
"Wanna see what we got?" She asks looking at me hopefully.
"Actually, Ali. We've gotta talk." What? What the fuck am i saying?
"Um, ok. Is everything alright?" She sits down. I can't do it.
"You are a very beautiful pregnant woman. Ya know?" I try to be happier.
"Ok. What's really up?" She says, choking up.
