You've been my friend since our childhood days,
You're like a brother and even became my protector.
You even said I can always count on you,
That became the reason why I fell for you.
We thrive in different worlds,
You love numbers as much as I love mythological heroes.
I even tried to conquer your world,
But no, it is far yet than I have imagined.
I've longed to feel your touch,
In dreams I think of your sweet embrace.
In words and in actions you don't seem to understand,
Maybe I should kill you in order for you to feel my love.
I want us to be something more,
But every step I take, my conscience always tells me not to,
You and I have our own tall walls that we can't break,
Even no matter how hard we struggle.
I had to accept that even if I don't want to,
My role in your life was only just your friend.
