CHAPTER 1:
I’m in my room playing Paladins when my sis knocked.
"Hey! Go with me!"
Damn! Here she goes again.. Bugging me to get out of my sanctuary.
"No thanks.. I’d rather play." I answered not bothering to look at her...
"Come on, mav. You rarely leave the house. Let alone your room! You only comes out when its necessary! Just this time. Please accompany me." She pleads batting her eyelashes.
Ugh.. Knowing my sister.. She won't stop until she gets what she want.. Thinking that.. I sigh.
"Fine. Give me an hour.. I’ll just finish this then I’ll get ready.."
"Yay! Thanks!! I’ll wait for you outside.." she squeals.
I sighed.
"Guys, got to go." ~mavine
"Oh man! Why? Thought you'll be ON whole day?!" ~Phantom
"S'ry, something came up..=_=" ~mavine
"Too bad. Now we're lacking 1 player. Well goodluck goin back to reality" ~o0oAXEo0o
"Ahm.. Let’s reschedule it...? Actually I wanna join too. But my sis won't stop bugging me.. So please wait for me.. Promise I’ll be ON tonight." ~mavine
When the whole gang agreed I immediately logged out and fix myself.
As I was putting my sneakers on, I heard my sis yelling 'hurry up!'... I could hear a hint of irritation in her voice.. Oh boy, better hurry up...
"Are we gonna use the car? And oh, by the way. Where are we going?" I ask. I noticed she pressed 2nd floor.. Oh great! Cross-city. "I'll drive, you navigate.. so where are we goin? And btw I need to be in my room before the clock strikes 9pm TONIGHT." I announced emphasizing tonight.
"What's the rush? And ok you drive. We’re going to greenhills.." she said as she passes the car key.
"Well. My boys needs me.. We’re gonna rekt in casuals.. Actually it was scheduled now.. But you won't stop bugging me so I ask them to reschedule it later tonight." I answered as I start the engine.
'Hah! I think I know why she’s urging me to go with her..' I speculate while driving..
The drive is kinda boring and annoying.. My sis is persuading me to escort her somewhere but I just told her that I don't want to coz it’s too bothersome.. 'gah! Now I know. She wants me to be her driver! Ugh. Why don't she just ask her boyfriend to drive her who-knows where to?! Oh whatever.'
Greenhills.
"So what are we gonna do here?" I asked when we were inside.
"Of course, shopping! Now let’s go over there first. There’s a bag that I wanna buy.."
'Great... She also wants me to be her carrier. I wonder why did i bother to ask.. Oh man. gotta escape.' I sigh.
"Elleanor, I wanna go to the computer &gadget section. Just give me a ring when you need me." I told her. And she said ok grumpily.
From there I just wandered aimlessly into the crowd..Bumping someone every now and then. until I felt something tugging my bag. 'Oh man! This thing is asking for trouble.' I cuss internally.
At first I didn't bother to pay attention. I just kept walking. Then the tugging became yanking. And that did it. Not bothering to look who is the annoying perpetrator..
I took a step forward, turned around and swiftly kicked him.. Then I heard a loud huff and a thud. 'Oh. I think I got him in the chest.. tsk. I missed the face. Oh well, never mind. At least I didn't missed at all. That would’ve suck.. Hah! Serves him right! Lesson learnt: never grab something that is not yours.' I thought as I looked at the tugger whose slumped awkwardly on the floor.
