Hello, Houston

I get off the plane an go inside Hobby Airport. Since I haven't really talked to anyone since I left here 4 years ago, I call a taxi to take me to my new dorm.

Once I arrived at my dorm, my moms was already texting me.

Ma 👑: Hey hun, are you at your dorm yet?

Mailei 💟: Yep, I'm here. It's really nice, ma.

Ma 👑: Really wish I could have came & helped you move in. I'm sorry hun. Love you talk to you when I get off.

I put my phone down & and start unpacking my boxes that got here earlier. I was really gonna like it here.

A few hours later, my cousin, Adrienne called me.

"Maiiii, how you doing babe?"

"Good NeNe, what 'bout you?"

"Well, you know since your back in town, we gotta go to the club."

"Uhhhh, you who I don't do clubbing, but since I haven't seen you in 4 years, I'll do it this ONE time."

"Finally, so I'll come get you around 8?"

"Tonight ?"

"Yeah, tonight!"

"Alright see you at 8."

That girl was really something else. I really didn't feel like going to the club, but Adrienne had my back. So I figured one night wouldn't hurt.

I looked at my phone and it was 5:35pm, I had about 2 1/2 hours to get ready. I ran myself a bath, since it was well needed. Once I got out of the tub, it was 6:30p so I did my hygiene and went to eat.

When I walked out my room someone was putting boxes down. I guessed it was my roommate so I went to go introduce myself.

She was tall maybe 5'7, with captivating slanted chestnut colored eyes, long eyelashes, full lips and a very beautiful body. Easily model type. She was obviously a girl you would have thought to be Twitter famous. I decided to go introduce myself.

"Hey, my name is Mailei, but you can call me Mai", I started.

"Hey, I'm Kehya Marcel. Guess I'm your new roomie. Hey roomie", Kehya said.

"Hey, roomie", I responded. Man that girl was pretty.

After I grabbed my snack, I went back to my room to put my clothes on. I settle on a pale green dress that stopped at my knees with my pale green Superstar Adidas. I kept my hair in its' natural curly puff. I sat on my bed, grabbed by phone and started scrolling through Instagram. Five minutes later, I heard a knock on the door, so I went to go open it.

"HEY, CUZZO", Adrienne yelled when I opened the door.

"Hey, NeNe, I'm ready girl. Let's go.", I told NeNe walking out the door.

An our later, me and Adrienne walked into the the club 'Vybez'. I not gonna lie, this place was popping, I can see why Adrienne wanted us to come here. I guess Adrienne was well known here, because as soon as we walked in, everyone was like; "Hey Yanna","Wussup girl",
etc. I just stood of to the side not wanting to get into anything, just noticing my surroundings. That was the type of person I was, I didn't care to talk much. You missed out on alot when your always talking, so I don't.

Adrienne dragged me to the V.I.P. section.

"Damn, NeNe you in V.I.P., I see you girl."

"Yes, you know how I do it. ONLY the best."

After a few minutes of NeNe and I talking, my favorite song 'Jealousy' by Roy Wood$ came on. I told Adrienne I was going to the bar, so I could get up and move a little.

She 'gon spend her cash when I'm broke. She 'gon whip through the 6IX and more... Remember the days we had no homeee.....

When I got to the bar a ordered a coke with a double-shot of wine. Hey, what can I say, I want to have fun too. I sipped my drink and figured I'd sit here for awhile. Adrienne was probably somewhere dancing by now. After about 5 minutes I started my way back to the V.I.P. Section. When i was halfway back, this guy bumped into me.

"WTF! THESE HOES MAN!", the guy complained

Hold up. Me? Hoe? I was about to apologise, even though I didn't do anything wrong, then you call me a hoe? Ha! Not happening. So I just continued to walk back to where I was going. I've never been much of a fighter or the type to argue with a stranger, it was just petty to me.

Adrienne's POV

I was dancing to 'No Telling' by Drake. Once that song came off, 'Freak Hoe' by Future came on. I would dance but not to that.

I was on my way to back to the V.I.P. section when I saw Dilyn, a Guy I went to highschool with. "Hey Dilyn, remember me?"

"Adrienne? What's up girl."

"Nothing much, I just enrolled in TSU, with my cousin. We came to have a little fun a know? What's up? You look a little annoyed."

"Naw, nothing really some hoe just bumped into me then walked off. They getting out of line, ya know. Hey, after we leave here me and Ken was about to go and chill at the crib for a bit. You and ya 'cuz wanna come?", he explained.

"Yeah sure, lemme go get her", I answered. Maybe a little to even early.

Me and Lei we're in the car over to Dilyn's house.

"So, who's this guy?", Mailei asked.

"Just a friend from highschool, I could hook y'all up though." I answered hopefully.

"Naw, I'm good. Just worried about school. No time for dudes." I scrunched up my nose.

"What you mean, you can't have a little fun, Lei?" I asked.

"Nope, 18 year old dudes don't want nothing but one thing. And if they did I'm not looking for a relationship. Just chillin' .", she explained.
