Chapter 16

^Hermione dress^

Hermione P.O.V

1 week later

Today was the banquet, this was strictly last years only and only a few professors. This time it was less formal. All it was, was a grand feast on one massive table and at the end we would each make a speech and then we would all talk about the best moments at Hogwarts and then we only had a week left of Hogwarts. That was a scary thought.

I had an apartment ready for me, for when I left Hogwarts it was a nice place in London over looking kings cross station after this I was going to train to be a teacher in Hogwarts. I am still not sure on what profession yet, either charms or defence against the dark arts as they always had trouble with that subject.

I wasn't sure on what Draco was doing he said that he had a penthouse apartment ready for him and that he wanted to be in business of some sort. Were we still going to be dating. I hope so...I just...I just love him so much.

"Draco ?" I called out

"Yea" He called back, he was in the common room. I could smell his pine scented cologne from here

" Can you come and zip me up" I asked still shouting from my dorm

"Coming" He went up the stairs and came to my door

"Are you decent" Before you ask yes, Draco has seen me naked, we did it after the end of year ball, when we were drunk, but don't tell anyone.  

"Yes" I called out again

He walked in I was wearing a short red dress with a red bit acting like an outside petticoat (Not really sure on what you call it) I turned my back on him, motioning him to zip me up.

"You look pretty" He complimented

"Thank you, you look dashing" I said with a grin. He did though, he looked gorgeous in his tux.

"Shall we ?" he asked, holding out his arm

"We shall." I smiled

It was grand it really was, we walked in and took our seats I sat next to Harry, who was sitting next to Ron, who sitting next to lavender. I was happy for Ron, they had really hit it off. Draco was sitting next to Blaise who was sitting next to Padma, who was- ugh I give up.

"Look at you" Harry said giving me a smirk

"Look at yourself" I said to him, giving a smirk to him too.

"Thanks"

We chatted for a bit then the feast arrived it was stupendous and it tasted delicious.

Then this happened.

"I would like the head girl and head boy to stand up and give their speech" Professor McGonagall said she smirked when she looked at us clearly knowing that on the inside we were panicking and to be honest we were. I looked at Draco he looked twice as panicked as I did and then being the wonderful boyfriend that he is (Hint the sarcasm) he stood up and said  

"Ladies first" he grinned like he just pulled the biggest prank of is life on someone and sat back down.

The cocky bastard.

I stood up.

"I would like to thank everyone for this perfect occasion especially the professors and well magic"

Everyone laughed. So far so good

"It has been a brilliant year at Hogwarts, There has been no fatal tragedies-

"Except for the love potion mishap" One of the Slytherins shouted out. Ron looked embarrassed.

"Thanks for that, anyway I think that after the war the bond between each other has not grown apart but closer. after all we've been through we have stuck with each other, accepted one another and I would just to raise my glass to everybody and everyone who has made my job easier this year by just getting along. To Hogwarts" I cheered

"TO HOGWARTS" Everyone cheered back. It was now Draco's speech.

"Well I would like to thank Hermione for that wonderful speech and basically what she said"

People laughed

"So yea thanks for making my job easier. To Hogwarts" He said that little evil sh*t bag

"TO HOGWARTS" Everyone cheered back again

"Well thank you for that wonderful speech of yours, Mr Malfoy and Ms Granger now on to the speech we will start with Mr Potter and end with Mr Weasley.

"Thank you professor McGonagall. Now Thanks for everyone for this-" Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah I know I should be listening but to honest it was a pretty stereo typical speech, well it was until Draco and I names were mentioned.

"Now I would like to dedicate this part of the speech to the most famous couple and I think it would be kind of rude not to don't you think?"

"Yeah" They all jeered

"Well to Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger the cutest couple of Hogwarts this year" Harry declared

People stood up whistled and cheered

"Thanks for that Potter " Draco shouted. I slapped him on the back

"Over to you Hermione" Harry whispered

"Thank you Harry for that wonderful speech" I started " and well at least I am not dating a 6th year"

"OOOOOHHHHHH" The rest of the year shouted

"Thanks for that Hermione" He said obviously annoyed, I chuckled

"Well I will just keep this short and sweet. Thank you all for a spectacular evening and to Hogwarts"

"To Hogwarts"

Draco said a few  things about Hogwarts a few things about the war and a few things about me which I blushed every time he mentioned me. The evening went down swimmingly as did the wine and at the end every body was a bit tipsy so tipsy that Draco and Ron ended up hugging.

As the night ended Draco and I went up stairs to our common room, Then I said that my high heels were hurting so I took them off, but Draco insisted that he had to carry me bare in mind that we were both drunk. He stumbled a few times bit he managed to get to my room when he then dumped me on my bed and then the rest is a bit fuzzy.
