Deadlox's p. o. v.
It was just another normal day. I woke from my bed, as usual, looked to my right, Sky was there, peacefully sleeping, usual, but... There was this ear-deafening ringing coming from downstairs. Holy shit, I swear I could feel my ear-drums rattle. I slowly walked down the stairs, the ringing obviously getting louder.
I reached the bottom of the stairs and saw a little blue thing with tentacles coming off the bottom. Is that a baby squid? How is it staying on land? I approached it slowly, my arms flew to my ears. The screeching stopped and it stopped moving. Is it... Dead?
I looked around, and spotted our rolling pin. I speed-walked to it , and looked at the squid. I stayed as far away as I could from it--why did it have to be on the dining table--and poked it with the rolling pin. It seemed dead, I flipped it over, it's eyes were looking opposite ways, it mouth was open in a huge circle. So that thing was making the ear-shattering noise?
thump. thump. thump.
Someone was coming down the stairs. "Sky...?" I called, my head to try and her the reply. "Yah, what is it Ty?" Sky asked back. Sky turned the corner and saw his blue enemy sitting on the table. "What is dat doing here!?" Sky yelled, anger in his voice. "I-I don't know! I just woke up and it was here!" Sky picked it up and threw it out the window.
Sky and I walked down the path to our friend Jason's house. He is quite a walk away, but we told him we'd come over.
Once we made it, about half the day was wasted away from Sky and I taking detours. We looked at a waterfall, a lake, and a rabid dog who attacked us. I knocked on Jason's front door and a furry man opened the door. "Fluffy! What are you doing here?!" Sky yelled. "I'm just staying over for a while."
Sky and I left about two hours later. We didn't really do much. We just caught up on life and watched some T.V. I glanced toward Sky. The sun was directly behind his head, making it look like he was an angel. Sky's face shifted toward me and I looked away.
When we reached out house, we were tired as heck. Sky and I fell over on the couch. My head fell over on Sky's shoulder and I blacked out.
