I lazily lounged my back on my bed as I let the bellboy place my things inside my room. I fished out my phone and saw 3 messages coming from Seb.

Are you home? Text me when you get this. I love you.
I smiled as I read the other messages coming from him. I quickly replied and stared at the ceiling for God knows how long. I was taken a back when my phone beeped.

Great. Take a rest, I'm sure you're still tired from the flight.
I took one more glance on the phone before closing my eyes and went into deep sleep.
I was awaken by some noise coming from the bathroom. I slowly rose up and find my phone, to see that it's already 3 in the afternoon. Great, just great. Right at this very moment all my plans for this day are just ruined.
I finally stood up and went to the bathroom to see if what's going on. "Lucas, is that you?" the man inside turned to me and smiled. "I guess Your Highness is awake," I quickly rolled my eyes at him and leaned on the wall to watch him clean the toilet. "Oy 'wag mo akong ganyanin! Rinig mo 'yun english 'yun!"
"Why do you have to waste time cleaning my toilet, it's not like I've pooped in it." I said in a matter of fact. "Kasi Your Highness, kung hindi mo pa nabasa yung rules and regulations niyo, sabi dun dapat maglinis kami, linisin ang dapat linisin!" Well, he does have a point.
When he was done cleaning the bathroom he went out so I followed him. He was wiping the cabinets and the frames. "Para kang tanga dito," he pointed out a picture of mine together with Seb. "Come on, I'm inlove. And when you're inlove, idiocy happens. A lot." I chuckled a little when I remembered it was our second anniversary together.
"Ano? Psh, english ka ng english nandito ka naman sa Pilipinas. Pero kung ano man 'yun, kaya nga ayaw kong ma inlove, magiging tanga rin ako." he was finished cleaning the area and was about to go to the kitchen when I grabbed him. "You sounded so bitter! You know what? Since all my plans today has just been cancelled..." he was starting to shake his head non-stop.
"Clair, wag naman ganyan, Clair hoy!" I smiled evily at him and reached out for my phone. "Hello Sophie," I almost laughed when I saw how trembling Lucas looked. "Send me clothes for Lucas to wear." Sophie was about to say something but I quickly ended the call.
I glanced up and saw Lucas walking silently towards the door. "Oh no you dont!" I quickly jumped over him and strangled him which made him stop and dumped me on the sofa. "Clair! Muntik mo na akong patayin!" he was rubbing his neck and deadly glaring at me. I just chuckled and crossed my legs as he sat beside me.
"I miss you." he gave me a dagger look before tickling me and sending all my senses away. I begged for him to stop, but he didn't until we heard the doorbell. "I'll get it." I offered and opened the door. I saw it was Sophie's assistant and she handed me a paperbag and thanked her after closing the door.
Lucas was just looking at me as I walked back to him and throw the paperbag to him. "Change," he eyed me for a second. "NOW!" and now he's running towards the bathroom like a scared rat. I huffed and went to my walk-in-closet to find something to wear. I picked out the black dress Sophie gave to me last week and a pair of white heels to match it. I put my hair into a messy bun and applied a little make up.
I was waiting for Lucas to come out when my phone beeped.

Baby, I miss you.
I smiled as I replied to him.
To: Sebby
I miss you too Baby, See you in three weeks!
I heard the bathroom door clicked and saw Lucas with the clothes Sophie sent.
"You looked polished Lucas!" I jokingly slapped his arm. "Tumahimik ka Clair. Tsaka anong meaning ng polished? Yung parang sa nail polish?" I just laughed at his reaction and grabbed my purse. I was about to reach out for the door when Lucas stopped me. "Hindi ba 'to weird?" I gave him a questioning look. "Clair, alam na alam mo eh! Isang boss at isang employee?" I rolled my eyes at Lucas. "It's not as if we've not done this before you know?"
I opened the door and went outside, Lucas followed me and since he knew my security code he was the one who locked the door. "Oh Lucas, don't worry! Besides, there is completely nothing wrong with us, because we're friends!" I accidentally shouted causing some of the employees and some guests to look at us. I apologically smiled at them, they know about Lucas and I.
Before going out we went to the reception desk and told Annie, the receptionist to inform me of what's happening inside since I will be gone for a while.
"Lucas you drive!" I threw my keys to Liam and went inside the car. He opened the driver's seat and turned the engine on. "So... asa'n mo gustong pumunta?" I grinned at him. "Where else? Black Pearl!" Whatever Lucas' problem going there, it's not mine.

Lucas gave the keys to vallet before following me. Good thing the owner of this bar is a friend of mine and gave me this VIP card. "He's with me." Well, even if he have not gave me one I could still afford buying it. "Clair, alam mo naman na hindi ako umiinom diba?" I nodded and asked the bartender to give me my usual drink, for Lucas well... a shake isn't bad right?
"Salamat," he looked at me before sipping his drink. I reached over his hand and smiled at him. "No. Thank you. Thank you for being such a good friend to me." he smiled to me in return and continued drinking his drink.
I was looking around the place and saw some familiar faces, but then we're not that close. "Clair! Gosh! Since when did you arrived?" I was surprised seeing Chloe in this kind of place. She never did liked the smell of alcohol. "Never mind her, let's dance!" I was even more surprised when Bella suddenly came out. I motioned Lucas to wait for me since probably he won't hear me because aside from the loud music Chloe and Bella are dragging me towards the dance floor.
We were dancing wildly when I saw a glimpse of Lucas waving my phone. I excused myself first before going to Lucas. "What is it?" I was wiping my sweat with the towel Lucas gave me. "It's Seb. He's been calling you for the third time already." good thing it was still ringing so I quickly answered it. "Seb? Are you there?" I can't hear him clearly so I went somewhere more quite.
"Where are you?!" Did Sebby just sounded annoyed? "What?" Why is he acting like this? "Just tell me!" he's seriously freaking me out. "Fine! I'm at the Black Pearl okay? Now tell me what's going on!" I may sound pathetic here but I need to know. "Fuck," that was the last word I heard before he ended the call. I tried calling him again but he was already out of reach.
What is happening? Is Seb mad at me? What did I do?
I went inside and searched for Lucas.
Where the heck is Lucas? "Lucas!" We need to get out of this place. "Lucas!"
"Clair!" I quickly turned around and dragged him out of the bar. He was saying something but I didn't feel like listening. "Clair what the heck?!" he forced me to look at him. "What's wrong?" It was like he was reading me, like he could see right through me what I'm feeling. So instead of answering him I hugged him. "I think Seb is mad at me," My tears are flowing non-stop. He made me look at him again. "Shh. It's okay, I'm sure whatever it is, you're just overthinking." he kissed my forehead and hugged me again.
I hugged him back. "Yeah, I hope so too."
