At least one has been confirmed dead in the fire at the Heelshire home. The two-alarm fire broke out late yesterday afternoon in the west wing of the expansive mansion. Fire services arrived shortly after the blaze erupted and took over an hour to contain it. A distraught Margaret Heelshire was pulled from the flames and firefighters continued the search for the Heelshire's 8-year-old son, Brahms.

Henry Heelshire, a barrister for the county, joined his wife not long after firefighters made it to the scene. Recently, Margaret Heelshire left her prominent role on the board of her family's railway corporation to spend more time at home.

One firefighter was injured in his search for the Heelshire boy, sustaining minor injuries from equipment malfunction. He claimed to have found 2 bodies in his search, but upon further investigation of the scene only one body was recovered. The body was found in the woods just outside of the home, and has been confirmed as a young girl unrelated to the Heelshires. The Heelshire boy is believed to be dead, but remains are yet to be found. No other details have been released at this time.

We spoke with a firefighter from the scene who, "suspected foul play." When asked about what led him to this conclusion he commented, "The fire was in the far end of the home, away from any immediate sources - fireplaces, gas lines, stovetops. This is still under investigation and it could be any number of things with a house this old, but arson has yet to be ruled out."

The Heelshire home has been the subject of significant speculation recently with charges of alleged assault from a departing employee of the family. The family has denied the claim outright stating, "The employee was dismissed on legitimate grounds." When asked to elaborate, the Heelshires referred us to their lawyer who had no comment.
