Looking down at her some might feel sorry for her, others might even throw in a little pity at the sight before me but I'm not them, they haven't lived through half the Hell storm she's created just for me so when her obsidian like eyes take in my own brown and red fire eyes I let her in , I let her see the anger, the grief, the anguish, and finally the rage; her face pales as if all the blood in her were trying to escape the very vessel that holds it, then i put my walls back up.
I stroll towards her as she continues to take baby steps backwards all the while looking left and right. " you new this was going to happen eventually, I don't know why you continue to play this game, we both know its come to an end and someone must be declared the victor."
Suddenly she pauses, straitening her back, pushing her shoulders back she then lifts her chin and slowly but surly her once petrified face is replaced with a psychotic smile, one that could rival the joker himself.
" And you my darling daughter, do you plan on being the victor," her eyes drift across my face trying to read me once again, I learned a long time ago feeling some thing for someone is not a weakness, it's a strength, your expression is your weakness, mastering the art of hiding your emotions with a blank face was a must.
As she takes in my full appearance from my blond brown hair pined up in a bun, down to my black jacket that holds up to twenty five blades then to my twin swords that hang on my back both settled in between my shoulder blades comfortably she continues scanning me reaching my pieces of steel hanging on my hips both in there holsters, black leather pants that hide absolutely nothing and finally my trusted black steel toed boots that not only conceal the nine inch blade it holds but my tracker as well.
"They say your eyes are the window to your soul, what if you have no soul Mother what then?" My voice is soft, curious even.
Her eyes pop open in surprise then realization, settling on horror and true terror, as I watch her its my turn to smile, even chuckle a little.
"You went to Him, didn't you are you stupid girl?!" she shakes her head "Even I wouldn't mess with that kind of power, you will loose everything" no longer keeping up the act of a disappointed mother, it seems she cant hold bock her sense of joy any longer as she lets out a cackle.
My own smile slips, I know the price I had to pay and continue to pay, "I Have already lost every thing, and now you will as well." A look of apprehension crosses her face before she settles on triumph " your little trinkets will do nothing you and I both know it." She openly laughs now. "You stupid girl, you traded your soul for nothing, you will be his forever and its all for nothing!!" I walk towards the hysterical woman.
" Well this was fun and all, but I have some errands to run and since they tend to get a little bloody every now an then the clean up takes some time, see ya daughter of mine" she starts to stand an turns to walk away, but I stop her with a hand on her shoulder she quickly spins around, her face filled with fury, " You dare touch me!?" she bellows I smile a crooked smile "Mamma?" she looks confused for a second, then starts to scream, her shrill causes a cold shiver to roll down my back, through my hand I push all of my emotions I hid behind my wall, all the while adding the fires of hell to the mix, her screams mix with the lost souls of the River of six, blending in with the echo's of damnation. I mute her, going on my tippy toes I whisper in her ear " I didn't give him my soul mamma, I took his." Facing her once again I let the remaining hell fire travel up my arm it glides across my skin in a comforting manner much like a cat rubbing against its owner, once up my arm it continues its journey along my neck settling upon my head creating my very own crown of fire.
Taking her hand in my own I open a portal, oval shaped, it ripples like the surface of a pond, dark and endless, taking a step forward , hand still clasped with her own I drag her to the portal and step through. The temperature instantly rises, the sound of torment and terror reach my ears, the flames of hell cress me welcoming me back home and a genuine smile breaks across my face.
I feel a tug on my hand and look down at her crumpled form, she's trying to crawl away while my fire surrounds her, it taunts her creeping closer and closer. Putting a stop to there little game I squat down next to her, taking ahold of her jaw gently I turn her face towards me, looking deep into her black as night eyes " Welcome to hell Mamma" I whisper.
Noticing movement from the corner of my eyes I turn, Shadows come from all directions until there seem to be about ten thousand of them, as they let their mist go they leave behind the most beautiful creatures my eyes have yet to ever see, men, women and children all exotic with either red, black, or both shaded eyes, skin like porcelain; smooth without a single mark upon them; all except the guards that have a series of lines tattooed on their arms legs and some on their face, but nonetheless all enchanting , each creature a shade of white, black, or brown.
All the guards line up creating a perimeter around the others, one steps forward until he stands before me, he scans me in an impersonal way looking for any scratched or marks, once he is done he finally looks me in the eye, " Welcome home my queen" he Kneels and soon the ten thousand follow suit.
