Chapter 10

Katherine gasped as she heard Tootles and Hooks footsteps. " OK peter hang on" She said picking up peter in her arms. " Oh.. How am I gonna get out of here" she said while frantically looking around. " Awww its really touching seeing someone try so hard to protect her loved one" Hook said screwing his hook on tighter. " Leave him alone Hook" she yelled as her body began to shake. " What's the point. He's half dead. Look at him Katherine do you want him to suffer more or do you want him to stop suffering" Hook said with irritation. Katherine looked down at Peter. " I can save him. Your not going to kill him Hook" she yelled, her voice starting to crack. " I gave you a choice and I'm out of patience" Hook said slicing his hook across Peters stomach. Peter awoke screaming. "Peter!" Katherine yelled. " You should've just handed him over" hook said raising his hook. Just then Tinkerbell flew right in front of hooks face blinding him. He backed up against the wall swatting at her. Katherine saw her chance of escape and used it. " I almost had them" Hook yelled out and he swatted his hook at tink and she flew back.

Katherine ran through the forest until she came upon a small river. "We should be safe here.. At least for a few minutes" she said then gently sat Peter up against the tree. She kneeled there looking at Peter for a moment. His arms were laying limp beside him, his head was on one side, and his stomach was deeply cut. Blood dripped out of his stomach. " I need to stop the bleeding before I do anything else" she said looking around frantically. She came across some healing herbs lying deep in a thick bush. " This should help" she said tearing out some herbs. As she was getting together her items that she had found, she heard a deep groan coming from Peter. She quickly ran over to Peter,kneeled down, and took his hand. "Easy Peter" Katherine said calmly. *cough* "Katherine..." He said weakly, his eyes were half closed,he was trying to wake up. "Its OK Peter. Your gonna live" she said shedding a tear. Peter gave a small,weak smile. "Just stay awake until I get you bandaged up" She said slowly letting go of his hand. She gently placed the herbs around his arrow wound and along the stomach wound. She then took some vines and started wrapping his wounds. Peters smile slowly faded away and his hand slid off of his chest, his head rolled down to the side. "Peter?" Katherine asked starting to worry. He gave no response. She tried feeling for a heartbeat and pulse. Nothing... " No Peter!" She cried out breaking down into a loud cry. She wrapped her arms around him and placed her head on his chest. "Please come back Peter. The lost boys have been captured and I think tink has too.. Peter you can't leave me. You've hung on for so long. Don't give up now.. Peter.. Peter please!" She said loudly still crying harshly. For the first time Katherine has never felt this heartbroken before.
