"Come on Ollie let's play hide-and-go-seek." I whined. I was pouting to my six year old best friend. We were both six, but he was the calmer one much to my mothers dismay. I was the one who wanted to explore, run around, or do anything that my parents didnt want me to which caused me tp rip my dress last time.

"But Lina," He whined back, "Your mother said not too so you wouldnt tear your dress again, or get it dirty."

"Who cares. Please Ollie!! Will do what you want after." He huffed, and crossed his arms against his chest angrily.

    "Fine."

"Yaaaay!!! Your the seeker!!" I said, then picked my skirts up and ran off. I giggled, when I heard him cry out my name. Then turned back to stick my tongue out at him, and he turned around, and started counting. I giggled, and looked around. '1, 2, 3.' Hmm, where's a good spot. '5, 7, 9.' I saw a huge tree by our driveway. I put my dirty hand over my mouth to cover up my giggles, and quietly ran over to it.

I placed my hand against the hard bark, and looked back at Ollie. He was still counting all mixed up numbers. '10, 11, 4 Wait I already said four! Ugh I hate this game Lina! Where are you!?'

I giggled again quietly, and hid behind the huge trunk.

"Liiinnnaaa! Lina where are you!?"  I started humming quietly and looked over are driveway that led to the door of our huge house. It had three floors and had about ten rooms on each floor, except for the bottom floor where the kitchen, maid qaurters, ballroom, and dining room was. I didnt know why we needed all of it, but when I tugged on mama's skirt to ask she's always tells me ' Oh Lina Beana you'll understand when your older.'

I huffed, what was taking Ollie so long. My hiding spot wasnt that good. I don't hear him anymore. Maybe I should jump out, and scare him. I jumped away from the tree with my hands up, and roared. But as I looked around, Ollie was gone. My hands dropped to my sides, and I stood up straight. Where'd he go?

"Ollie?" I cried out my voice wobbling. "Ollie stop playing around, come out!" I looked around, still not seeing or hearing Ollie. I took a few steps forward when I heard a carraige come around on the driveway. I turned around to look, feeling my lower lip sticking out cause Ollie left me. If mama was here she be poking my lip and saying 'Now Lina, you keep poking your lip out like that a bird is gonna come and poop on your lip.' But I didn't care cause Ollie left me here all by myself.  The carriage stopped on the driveway not to far from me. The door opened and a man came out and when he saw me he gave me a nice smile.

The man was skinny yet thick around his chest. He was wearing a tan suit, with a white shirt underneath, with a red bow. He had a thick burly moustache that slightly covered his lips. His hair was slicked back, and had a black top hat on top.

"Hello little one. Why do you look so sad? Would you like some candy?" He said reaching behind him, and grabbing a golden wrapper. I twisted my ankle around, innocently.

"What kind?" He grinned at me.

"Butterscotch." He said. I ran towards him without a second thought. I plucked the candy from his hand and was about to walk away, when he grabbed my waist and lifted me into the carriage into the seat next to him. He closed his door, and nodded to the driver. We started moving.

    "Wh-where are we going?"

"Why to get some more candy of course!" I gulped.

"I don't want anymore candy. I want to go home." He narrowed his eyes.

"Well, I'm afraid that's not going to be happening."

"OLLIIEEEE!!!!" I screamed, but the man who I thought looked kind hit my head, and I fell asleep. . . .
