Butler Meets Maid (Black Butler)

Chapter 2

“Miss Layla, you seem quite nervous.” I heard Sebastian say breaking the four minute silence

I chose not to respond. I didn’t want to speak to anyone who took me away from eating Miss Carly’s soul.  I was waiting for 6 years. Yes, I am a demon. But she had signed the contract 5 years old, and I have been working for her since, and every day I thought that her last order would be that day, but it never came, and now it never can.

"I can tell that you aren't in the best mood. I already know that you are a demon. There is nothing to hide." He said.

I quietly gasped at what he had said. If he knew I was a demon then he would have to be one too. Thought at the thought I still didn't respond. Whether he was a demon or not, I still had no intentions of talking to him. Now madder how sexy he looked.

Shit, did I really just say that?!?!

We arrived at the Phantomhive manor no later than in 10 minutes. It was very big, and the color was beautiful.

"Miss Layla, we have arrived." Sebastian said.

"I know." I responded.

Sebastian got out of the carriage, and opened my door. he held a hand out for me to get out, but I refused it, and got out myself. We walked to the door, while the carriage left. Sebastian slowly opened the door, and led me inside.

My feet made a clacking sound as I slowly walked on the floor. The manor was so big from the inside. Miss Carly's was big but this one was much larger, and Miss Carly has a BIG manor.

"Here we are." Sebastian said as he closed the door behind me.

"It is absolutely beautiful." I said.

At that moment I had heard footsteps coming from upstairs. There I saw a boy who looked like he was maybe 13 walk to the top of the stairs. He slowly walked down and approached me.

"So this is the other girl that is going to be working for me with no contract?' The boy said. He had blue hair that was a bit long, and would reach the bottom of his forehead. He also had an eye patch, and I knew that there was a demon mark there, and thats why he was covering it up.

"Yes, young master." Sebastian said putting his hand on his heart, and bowing to the boy.

"You must be Layla Greyson. I am Ciel Phantomhive, and this is my butler Sebastian." Ciel said handing me a hand to shake it. I shook his hand, and he shook it back.

"I am sure Sebastian won't have any trouble showing you to your room." Ciel said walking away into what looked like a dressing room.

Sebastian led me upstairs. There were several turns, and I couldn't remember them all. We stopped and he opened a door. The room was very plain, just how I liked it. Red walls, a dresser, a window, a night table, and a bed. The sheets that were on the bed were black.

Perfect. I grinned a little at the sight.

"Now that you have seen your room, Young Master would like a word with you in the living room before you start your work." Sebastian said.

We walked out of the room, and I slowly started to walk as Sebastisn walked fast.

"Come on, Miss Layla, we don't have all day." Sebastian said.

My eyes glowed pink.

"I will walk as fast as I want to walk." I responded.

"Not on my watch, you won't." He said. He took my hand and a bolt of electricity went through my body. He rushed me through the halls much faster that when we were going before.

We reached the living room, and Sebastian and I walked down the stairs together. Like husband and wife at a wedding.

WHAT AM I THINKING!!!!????!!!!????!!!!

He walked me to the middle of the living room. Ciel walked through the door he had walked through before, holding something behind his back.

"As you can see Layla. mos\t manors have several employees,and in my manor we all have different uniforms. One of my maids May-Rin has the same uniform you do, and that is unacceptable. So Sebastian and I have decided to get you this one." Ciel said as he held the thing that was behind his back.

I couldn't believe my eyes on what Ciel, and Sebastian had wanted me to wear.

They wanted me to wear....
