Austin's POV

As I was walking towards Sydney, I noticed her she was starting to get a little uncomfortable. Soon a group of boys started to walk towards her. I'm suprised she didn't even see me. As I quickened my pace, I heard a couple of snide remarks.

"Nice tank babe, I like how it says fuck."

"Well aren't you a cute babe."

"Look guys, she has a pretty nice arse!"

I felt my head get hot. Who the hell did they think they are! I quickly got to Sydney, I pushed the boys out of my way, and put my arm around her shoulder and gave her a quick kiss on her cheek,"Hey baby, ready to go see the movie?" Before i heard her response I gave a death glare to all the boys. They all backed off as to say "Yeah man, she's all yours."

I quickly looked back to Sydney to see her shocked. I nudged her forward to signal to walk. As we were walking, she said,"Thanks....you know for helping me back there..."

"No problem, but you know that guy was right about your arse," as i pushed her forward a little bit and made it obvious i was checking out her arse.

She slapped my arm and said," Dude what the hell! We barely started this date and I was already almost gang-raped. This shows how great our next date is gunna be huh." She rambled about this and as soon as she stopped talking she had this huge shock on her face like she couldn't believe shehad just said that. "Just forget what I said."

"Yeah right, like I would forget this. You were so not about to be gang-raped. I mean c'mon your lucky I saved your arse. And I thought you didn't want this to be a date? Guess I was wrong. And Yup, we're definetly going to have future dates that you've already predicted." I gave her my signature smirk.

She just shook her head and muttered something like "yeah yeah whatever."

Sydney's POV

THAT DICKHEAD!!!! Who does he think he is!! Sure he saved me from getting gang-raped but he didn't have to kiss me on the cheek! I looked to my right side, and suprisingly Austin was looking right back at me like he wasn't even paying attention to the movie. I suddenly got lost in his vibrant green eyes. I never noticed how green they were until now. I noticed her had started moving in closer. As if he were going to kiss me. I instntly snapped my head forward and tried to concentrate on the movie.

The movie was finshed soon enough. Me and Austin were walking out of the theatre together. I shivered at the coldness. How stupid was i not to bring a friggin' sweater! Dammit.

"Are you cold?" Austin said.

"Yeah..." He didnt say antoher word. He just took off his sweater and put it around my shoulders. "Thanks."

"Better?"

"Yeah. Can you walk me to my car? I'm kinda scared those guys are gunna jump me or something."

"Sure." We walked to my car in silence. I unlocked my car and got in. I tried to start it but it wouldn't start. I tried like nine times. Dammit!!!!!! Today is just not my day huh.
