Once, you were kind
A memory merely
It's all left behind.
Once, you stood by me
Once, I was strong
But all an illusion
We both knew was wrong.
Once, you did love me
Once, I was whole
To make time stand still
I would have sold my soul.
Once you betrayed me
Once I was broken
We parted forever
No words left unspoken.
