Little do you know I'm still haunted by the memories.

We walked around the square as we held hands. He swung our hands back and forth and smiled, laughing as we passed a mime. I smiled at the street performer, dropping a five into his hat. He grinned and nodded happily.

Matt smiled at me again before walking again. Despite the smile, I couldn't help but remember the horrifying memories of walking in on him and the girl I'd never seen.

They haunted me continuously and I couldn't rid of them. They scared me, to be honest. In a way, the fact of staying with him scared me. But once again, I couldn't deny the love in his eyes.

If somebody else was me, they probably would've broken up with him. But I couldn't. I didn't want to. He was the only man who had supported me and loved me for who I was. Some may say that he didn't love me because he had cheated. But I couldn't get over him.

He was my life. If he left, I didn't know what I would do.
