-Marshall's pov-

I'm laying here in bed staring at Fi nothing creepy about that at all you know well I'm really hungry so I'm going to make breakfast and eat it (what else was he going to do with it? Throw it away?)

TO THE KITCHEN DUNANANANA (wow batman reference I was a smart child)

"okay what to eat what to eat hmmm... ah ha pancakes perfect" (you know when link gets stuff out off a chest and the music plays and he holds up the item yeah that's what Marshall did) and there's strawberry to yum

"whatchya doin'" she scared me and I hit my head off the roof of the cabinet

"OW" I shouted as I heard a giggle behind me 

"you're such a baby" she said and pecked my cheek sweetly

"well you're the one who scared me so" I argued back

"oh yeah, well you have scared me time after time so this is pay back" she said with a devilish smirk

"ah I have taught you well" I bowed to her as she pat my head (was I trying to reference something?)

"haha ya so what are you making" she asked as she looked over my shoulder 

"pancakes strawberry ones" I said with a smile as I turned to let her in the kitchen

"yum" aw she's so cute and I gave her a quick pecked on the cheek

*knock* *knock*

"well I wasn't expecting visitors today" I said as I walked over to the door "I'll get it Fi can you finish the pancakes you just have to flip them over" I used my hand and flipped it as if I was showing a child

"yes I know how to flip a pancake, now go get the door 'kay?" she pushed me off towards the door

"alright, alright" I put my hands up in defeat as I floated over to the door. I open the door and my smile drops to a frown

"hey Marshall who- oh what are you doing here Ashley?" I heard Fionna behind me sneer at the white haired women in front of me 

"I could ask you the same thing, Fionna" she spat back at her 

"well I live here and I'm Marshall's girlfriend so what's your excuse?" she said as she came closer to me

"whatever, Marshall can I talk to you. Alone." I look at Fi and nodded to show her everything was going to be okay

"fine I'll go but first" she then grabbed my neck and pulled me down to kiss her softly 

"see you later" Fi said walking off

-Fionna's pov-

as I climbed the ladder I listen to there conversation and this is what I could hear

"what do you want Ashley?" Marshall said coldly

"oh don't act like you didn't miss me Marshy" she cooed

"I didn't in fact I have never regretted breaking up with you for one second of my life" he said with anger 

"oh stop that you, missed me" I could hear her giggle and the seductive tone in her voice

"psh, as if" then it got quite for a minute. Whats going on down there? I go down the ladder and guess what I found my soon to be ex kissing his ex

"Marshall?" I choke out as I can feel the tears brimming my eyes 

"Fionna?" he look back at me and sees my shocked face "Fi its- its not what it look's like" he said with his hands out as if trying to calm an animal
