~Chapter Three~

ESCAPING NIGHTMARES
{SKYLA'S POV}
Soon after the bell rang I made my way out of class and started to walk to meet Jakob and lily at our secret spot for lunch. I noticed someone was staring at me then I realised who it was and immediately looked up at him.
"Hi, Skyla", he said a little unsure.
"Um hey", I paused in thought. "Ah, Ethan".
"You know my name", he asked a bit shocked.
"Well not exactly, I heard your name called in class", I told him.
"Oh", he seemed, disappointed?
"But how did you know my name, like before class?", I asked him.
"Well, I um-"
"Be honest please", I said.
"You might think I'm crazy but I dreamed it, you were there and I met you", he admitted.
I knew it he was from my dream to, this all makes sense now. But did we have the same dream?
"I don't think your crazy", I told him.
"You don't?", he asked surprised.
"No, because I had a dream about you too", I admitted.
"Really?", he was still shocked.
"Yeah, but your name was never mentioned in it so I wasn't sure if it was you or not when I met you today", I said truthfully.
"Oh-"
"Hey Skyla", Jakob interrupted.
"Oh hi", I replied.
"Sorry, did I interrupt something?", Jakob asked.
"Well, um-", I started.
"No it's fine", Ethan cut in surprising me.
With that he walked away. I noticed him drop a piece of paper, he looked at it then up to me then back down to the paper again. Did he want me to pick it up? He kept walking until he was out of site so I thought I'd go and pick it up as I started getting more curious. I quickly picked it up and it read:
Meet me near the oak tree at the end of school.
Dreamboy, (Ethan)
I smiled at the note, he probably wanted to talk more about the dream good thing is I wanted to as well.
"What is it?", Jakob asked. Shit, I totally forgot he was even there.
"Oh um, nothing", I replied quickly shoving the note into my jacket pocket.
"Where's lily?", I asked trying to change the conversation.
"I don't know but we should go find her", he answered.
"Yeah, let's go", I smiled as we walked to our secret spot.
We made our way through the oval and past groups of people until we were near the hedges out of site.
"Okay quickly, the teachers aren't around", Jakob rushed.
I pushed my way through the trees with Jakob following close behind me. On the other side we were met with a fresh breeze and the beautiful courtyard. I quickly made my way over to Lily who was sitting on one of the benches.
"Where have you guys been?", she looked at us angrily.
"Sorry I got distracted then Jakob interrupted us and now were here so it's fine, were so sorry", I rushed out, not even sure of what I was saying.
"Distracted? By who?", she questioned. Crap.
"Um, the new boy but that doesn't matter", I rushed again.
Both Jakob and Lily know about my nightmare but I haven't told them that the new boy, Ethan is the boy from it. I have no Idea what they'd do if I told them they'd probably freak out and I do not want that to happen.
I quickly raced to sit down and started to eat my lunch so they wouldn't ask questions and luckily they didn't. Both of them made small talk between themselves while I just sat and listened while shoving food down my throat. I love food.

Before I knew it school was over and I found myself walking down to meet Ethan at the oak tree, I haven't seen him since this morning so I don't even know if he's still here.
"Who are you waiting for", Lily asked from behind me.
"Oh no one", I smiled as I turned around to face her, hoping she'd just believe me for now.
"Okay see you tomorrow", she said suspiciously.
"Yeah bye", I waved as she left.
