An Unknown Nerd

Intro & Chapter 1

Hellop fellow Wattpad users. My online name is Fairy (i know, kinda stupid name choice) but you can call me Anna. This is my first fictional story with fictional characters (well some of them are -.-) so dont judge. This is an unedited book and dedicated to my sister Nerd (aka Kayla). I forgot her Wattpad username and im too lazy to go check >_<

Chapter 1: The First Day Of School
Hmmm, is that bacon i smell? I quickly got up out of my double-sized bed and raced myself down the spiral staircase and into the kitchen. "OHMYGOSH. MOM, YOU MADE BACON FOR BREAKFAST?!?! THANK YOU!!!" I shouted. "Kayla, you remember the rules, brush your teeth first before you eat your breakfast!" My mother scolded. "Oh yeah, whoopsies! Sorry!" I called back as i was once again, running up the stairs.

"Pfft, typical Kayla..." My rather not-so-morning-type twin, Vanessa mumbled. Ugh, popular girls always trying to make you feel bad huh? Well, when im popular, im going to be so sweet, they are for sure, not gonna mess with the super-smart gizmos, like me! Once i was done scrubbing my mouth with my minty toothpaste, i ran downstairs to eat my breakfast. I sat down in our vintage kitchen table and stared at my plate of wonderful bacon goodness.

It had three slices of the most perfect cooked crispy bacon, the soft, not too gooey egg, and a light brown whole-wheat piece of toast. As i was finishing up my breakfast Vanessa said something she normally wouldn't have said before. "So, wanna go shopping after school with me and Avery?" Vanessa asked politely.
I starred at Vanessa, my mouth the shape of an O, and my eyes as huge as the plate that held my food. "Wait, what? Why would you ask me now? After like, 14 years of you and i living together, your starting now?" I asked suspiciously. "Who says i can't be nice? And all those times before, you were too busy, studying something like, umm.... science. And since its the first day of school, for sure, you wont have any homework, and you would have nothing to study" Vanessa pointed out.

"Uh, well yeah. But im trying to finish Little Woman" i complained. "Oh puh-lease. That lame book? Who wrote that, Louisa May Alcott? That was written like two-hundred years ago! I think... But still, have some fun once in a while, stop doing nerdy stuff all the time!" Vanessa whined. Well, getting out of my study hole for once would be nice i guess. But what would Allison say? My best friend would NOT be happy about going shopping on the first day of school! Shes like, THE dorkiest girl in school! "Well what about Allison?" I asked. "Well what about her?"
"She wont be too happy about going shopping" "Who says she has to come?" Said a rather, annoyed Vanessa. "Okay, fine. Ill go. Ill see how i like it." I finally gave in.

I put my dishes in the new, stainless steel dishwasher and ran upstairs to get changed. I pulled out my outfit last-minute. My chosen clothing were, plaid tights with denim shorts that matched with my white tee with a pair of nerd glasses on it. I eyed my suspensers, wondering if i should wear them. Hmm, should i? I mean their my favourite accessory... Nahh, if Allison wears them, then their not for me! I tossed them into my laundry basket, but missed. But i didnt bother to pick the, up!

I brushed my hair like the usual, a high ponytail with my lucky white hairband! I brushed my black brown-ish hair until i thought it was good enough. I grabbed my backpack (which were lime green Jansport) and headed out of my huge bedroom, pastel themed! I was so ready to start my first day of 8th grade!
