Mariette was in shock, she was preparing for someone who fitted Chats personality, but Adrien hardly had anything in common with the cat. She was struggling to believe that she had fallen for Chat, however she also found this information somewhat comforting.
"Well you see the thing I wanted to tell you, or more so ask you, is well... would you like to be my lady?" Adrien asked, the two boys merging into one.
"Y-yes! Of course I would!" The girl hardly believing the situation she was now put into. Although after her response she started to doubt her decisions, already the guy she had loved for so long was changing to be more like Chat.
"Um, Mari would you wish to go on a date with me?" Adrien shyly smiled, struggling to make eye contact.
"Oh course I would my lil kitty," Mariette could hardly believe that she had just referred to him as that, but she didn't regret it. After all that adorable shade of pink showing on his face was to die for.
