Levi's POV
This was definitely not what usually happened when I got up and went for breakfast. Normally my family would be busy doing their own thing and preparing for the upcoming day. Not today though. My mother, father, sisters and brother were all sitting down at the table with very serious faces. What the frickity frack was going on.
"Levi we have something very important to tell you. Please don't interrupt me while I'm telling you. So, you may know about the rescue program your mother and I have been signed up for a very long time now. Today we have received a notification saying that someone needs our help. However we have not been given a name or gender of this person, all we know is what they look like and that they are an English only speaking child. That is where you come in, Levi, as you're the only one of us that's fluent in English you will have to mentor this child and be their translator. They will be attending your school and will be in all of your classes as they are very clever and so you can look after them. Any questions? Oh- you will also have the next two weeks off school until the summer break and go back together in the new school year."
Well. To say I was surprised was a bit of an understatement. For a moment I nearly opened my mouth in surprise but then I remembered that I am chill Levi with no visible reactions. I mumbled a few words of agreement before heading back upstairs to clean.

I opened the cupboard and my one true love fell out. Immediately filled with regret I picked them up and admired them. Their slim, toned from gave me tingles. Their colourful branded casing complemented their pale appearance in a way that made crazy thoughts of what I would do with them run through my mind. How could a bottle of bleach be so beautiful?
Time to clean the spare bedroom that the new kid would be staying in. The logical way to clean this room would be to start at the top and work down to the bottom. That would mean the order of cleaning would be: light, walls, storage, bed, skirting board, door and floor. Levi Ackerman and the Order of Cleaning. I would read that book.

After about two and a half hours of cleaning, the room was finally done. The walls had been washed several times, everywhere had been dusted and the bed had been made. Perfect. Now it was time for breakfast. It was 10:15 and that meant the bakery would still have some fresh break in stock. The bread would be perfect to toast and have a cup of tea with. Then after that it would probably be time to set off to the airport to pick up the new brat.

Luckily the bakery was empty when I got there. No unclean people to deal with. I ordered my bread and browsed through my phone while I waited. According to Facebook my ex-boyfriend, Erwin, had decided to hook up with my ex-girlfriend, Petra. Lovely.
The sound of the baker calling my name snapped me out of my thoughts. I took the fresh bread and left, not before remembering to pay the man.

Just as I got home it started to rain. Tch stupid rain. I put the bread in the toaster and brewed my tea. Breakfast was surprisingly pleasant. While I was eating my mother asked me to get ready to pick the brat up from the airport as their plane would be in soon.
