Twilight (raising renesmee)

Hunting hour

Its been going really well with Renesmee, Edward, and I. Days passed and Renesmee continued to grow. It scared me thinking about how little time I had to spend with her. She's grown really big and its only been 2 mouths since her birth. Jake was always around as her protector and making sure she was safe.

"Bella!" Someone called out.

"I'm coming!" I replied.

There I saw Edward sitting on the couch with Renesmee. They both glanced at me as I entered the room. Edward had a little smile on his face as he watched me walk over to them.

"Its been a while since we've been out hunting. And I think its time for Renesmee to start learning how to hunt," Edward explained.

I glanced over at Renesmee to see her with a huge smile across her face. It was always delightful looking at her beautiful smile. It made me fell warm inside. And that was odd referring to the fact I was a vampire.

"Yes it would to be nice to go out again," I agreed. "We haven't been out much lately and a little fresh air would be good for Renesmee," I added.

"Mom," Renesmee said quietly.

She had a bit of a nervous look on her face witch kinda confused me as she continued to talk.

"What if I mess up and we come back with nothing to eat. Dad would be furious at me for letting our food get away," and--

"Oh sweetie don't be so hard on yourself," I interrupted. " your father couldn't possibly get mad at you for such a little thing. Just try your best and I promise everything will be alright."

A big smile grew across her face as Edward came closer to me.

"Renesmee, go upstairs and freshen up a bit before we go out. Make sure to put on something you can move around in."

"Yes daddy," Renesmee said with a huge smile on her face.

Soon, Edward and I had the whole room to ourselves. He began to stroke my hair behind my ears, and began kissing my neck. My arms were wrapped tightly around his waist. He made his way up to my ear and mumbled a few words.

"Did you sleep well," he did a quick chuckle.

"Edward vampires don't sleep," I said with a smile across my face.

By then he made his way back down towards my lips. His kiss gave me a quick shiver. His hand began to move downwards as our kiss got deeper. My arms was wrapped around his neck. It went on until we heard Renesmee running down the stairs.

"Mom, Dad, I'm ready!" Renesmee called out.

"Okay, this is it, are you ready Renesmee?" Asked Edward.

"Yeah, I think so," Renesmee replied nervously.

"Oh come Renesmee you'll be fine, all you have to do is follow your fathers directions and you'll see how easy it is," I said with a smile to help her relax.

She gave me a quick hug and ran out the door, but waited for us on the porch.

"Go ahead Renesmee, we'll catch up with you."

"Okay," Renesmee yelled back.

"Well at least we know that she's pretty fast" Edward said with a chuckle behind his words. " I'm pretty sure she gets it from me" Edward said.

"We'll see about that" I said right before I took off.

I turned to see that Edward was right behind me. I pushed myself to go faster, but he caught up to me. We were side by side until I realized Renesmee wasn't with us. My stomach twisted and I began to panic.

"Edward!" I yelled out. He turned around with a soft look on his face.

" where's Renesmee."

We hurried and turned around. We were almost home when we saw Jake.
"Jake!" I said excitedly. "Have you seen Renesmee."

"Yeah she's over there," Jake said looking confused. "I think she's trying to hunt. I saw her watching a deer"

Me and Edward flashed a smile at each other. Not only was she trying to hunt, but she was trying to learn on her own. We quickly ran over by her but kept a fair distance. We wanted to test her out. She was going for that deer anytime soon. And we needed to see what she had in her.

"She looks like you did when you had your first hunt.'' Said Edward.

"She does?" I asked.

"Yes of course, she's sneaking up on that deer the same way you did."

    I turned my glance back at Nessie. She looked as if she would charge at any minute. Just as predicted, she charged. When she got to the deer she went straight for its neck. It looked a little terrifying when the deer began to buck up. I was about to go towards her but Edward stopped me. I gave him a confused looked but he just nodded his head in the other direction. I followed his gaze and saw Nessie feeding off of the deer.

  "She did it" I said and looked at Edward

   "It's in her blood" Edward replied.
   She soon ran over to us with a big smile on her face. She reached her hand up to my cheek, so I bent down so she can reach. She showed me a vision of her catching the deer.
 
   "You did great sweetie"
In return she smiled and ran to jake. Once I saw them together and laughing, I then realized that soon jake will be my best friend and son in law.

My thoughts were cut off when Edward called me.

" I think it's time we hunt" he said. I just smiled and ran off. Meaning a challenge.
