Nat pulled me into a cute coffee shop named The Beans. It was a quaint little place with lots of people our age hanging out there. Peppy music played from the speakers and as soon as the smell of the coffee hit my nose, my mood lifted up. Me and Nat pulled up two chairs and sat down. We ordered some coffee and some sandwiches. We always were quite at times like these.
Then rang the bell above the door and in came a lad of about our age - hair all messed up and out of breath. "You had to be late on your first day of work",said the shop owner. " Come on Aunt May, y'know I had football practise earlier",said the blue-eyed lad. The lad hurriedly went behind the counter pulled on the signature t-shirt of the servers and came out holding our order.
Nat was also glancing at him. As he came closer to our table, I could see his blue eyes- the brightest thing I had seen in this dreary London winter.
He was exactly the kind of guy who could lift my mood up after crashing into that nameless paint guy who seems to have occupied my mind.Again.
