Saving Grace

Lighting without rain

Pain with no gain

A dream to demolish

Shoes so ragged its no use to polish

True smiles are a rarity

Something us humans barely see

Everything seems to be a mask

A smiling man may resort to his flask

The world is truely no fairytale

My efforts to make a happy ending seem to fail

The possibility of understanding is getting small

Every time I seem to get up I fall

But there is this girl who makes the chances seem greater

Who completely deletes the void crater

Her words heal the broken

And bring joy to the sad

And her love cloaks the entire region

She is our saving grace
