"Coming!" Kathryn May hands Sandra the bowl of mix and hurries to the door.
"May I help you?" She asked, wiping her hands on her apron

"I wanted to know if Sandra May was...here? I assume she lives here"

"Yes, that's my daughter. What's the matter?" She asked

"Truly nothing, Ma'am. I'm a, friend, of hers"

"Well okay...Sandra!"

"Yes mom...oh" Sandra mumbles and asks for her mom to continue in the kitchen.
"Can I talk to you?" Malik asks. You could see the structure of his handsome face under the moonlight. Sandra closes her front door and they both take a seat on the steps of the porch
"The park is awfully boring without you...I seen you walking to church some Sundays and wanted to speak but..." Malik sighed "I have not too many friends now, I told them the truth"

Sandra looked up at him with innocence. "Can I have you now?"
He asked with a heart beating faster than usual, for he craved her kisses for way too long. A couple weeks ago he thought the cause of his cold was a lack of love from Sandra.
She smiled, just the way he hoped. And she kissed him

"Now come on" She pulled away "Meet my momma"
