Dan and Phil stood hand-in-hand surrounded by many others. Their smiles shined brightly on their face as they talked to others. Viv was on the other side of the room with her girlfriend, Jane. Phil was nervous but he wasn't showing it. Hidden in his left pocked was a ring. Tonight was the night; he was going to ask Dan to be his husband. Phil kept looking at the clock:

11:50 P.M.

It was almost time and Phil couldn't help but smile more then he was now. He looked at Dan. His breath still being stolen by his looks.

11:55P.M.

He gripped Dans hand tighter before pulling him away to grab a drink. His other hand in his pocket until they reached the drinks. "I love you." Phil said to Dan.

Dan smiled, "I love you too."

"No," Phil took a deep breath. "I love you when you wake up and have hobbit hair, and morning beath, I love your voice in the morning and I love our matching coffee mugs and our silly little ship name.--"

Dan started to speak, "Phil?-"

11:57 P.M.

"Nope you let me finish," Phil smiled slightly. "I love making videos together and I love your dimple when you smile, and God your laugh and smile is just enough for me to keep living when times are tough. I love our late night cuddles, and video game wars." Phils eyes looked to the clock in the kitchen:

11:58 P.M.

"I love you and I love spending time with you, we had our troubles and that's how life happens and meeting you was the best thing that happened in my life. Without you I'd probably be living alone in my apartment eating ice cream-"

11:59 P.M.

"I love you Dan, will you marry me?" Phil said, letting the words slip out as he pulled out the ring, and heald it out to him. There was a moment of silence, then everything around them went an uproar:

12:00 A.M.

Dan let out a yes before kissing Phil. The lights and music seemed to be louder but even more quiet at the same time, the people near them that heard Phil talking to Dan were clapping. Pulling away from the kiss Dan breathed out a quiet 'I love you' which only Phil seemed to hear.

"I love you too."
