Hi everyone! Well, this is the second poem I have created. I'm actually new at writing poetry so let me know what you think of my work! Anyway, I hoped this poem would create the idea of someone's last moments with a friend/family member and I wanted to present emotion through this so hopefully I done that successfully. NEVER FORGET:-

We sit in your back garden,

Surrounded by the light,

Of the moon towering above us,

Spreading its delight.

The sunset is fading,

Giving its dismay,

Time is a barrier,

Something that cannot be delayed.

I'd give anything for a moment,

Another moment with you,

For the one thing I treasure,

Is the beauty within you.

Our time is coming to an end,

The clock is slowing down.

And warnings alarm us,

Of our discord and sound.

It's my last moment,

My last moment with you,

But I know that I will never forget you,

Because you are a part of me,

And I am a part of you.
