Selena's POV:

From: Harry
"Good morning beautiful. xx"

I sit up in bed, stretching my arms as the warm sunshine from my window heats my room and soul. Harry definitely kept his promise of staying in touch with me--the boy seems to never run out of things to send or reply. Throughout this week, I learned many things about him and his thoughts, but five particularly stood out to me.

1. His favorite thing to do is play Scrabble and then post a picture of how he won while simultaenously boast about all the words in his vocabulary though from the attachment he sent me, it doesn't seem to be nearly as impressive as he believes it to be--unless you consider 'LIT' and 'VIBEY' worthy of praise.

2. He secretly watches the Disney Channel series Austin and Ally and claims the series finale will give him an existential crisis. Not going to lie, I feel the same.

3. Continuing on his Disney passions, he insists that I look exactly like Alex Russo from the old show Wizards of Waverly Place. I'm flattered, but...I don't see it?

4. His mum grounded him once for saying the word 'pussy'--with the implication he is not talking about a cat.

5. He claims he wants to hear my voice as much as he wants to take me on a date tonight for which he is giving me two options: yes or yes? I guess I'll just have to pick yes.

Harry is the last person I ever thought I would agree to go on a date with.

It's not because he's a terrible compulsive liar nor is it because he can't go five minutes without saying something. It's because he's Harry. He's ridiculously dorky, too funny for his own good, painfully attractive, and scarily too skilled at making me feel cared for.

A knock on my door startles me and I swiftly tuck my phone under my pillow as my mum comes in with some sugar cookies on a tray.

"The Paynes baked these for us. I was thinking maybe we treat them out for dinner tonight? You like Liam, right? He's sweet," she grins a little too much for my liking and I shake my head at her very clear attempt of getting me to hang with boys other than my brother.

"Can we do it tomorrow?" I sign, "I...might have something else in mind for tonight?"

"You have plans?" she sounds surprised and rightfully so. I never have something to do that's out of my routine schedule.

"Maybe?"

"What is it?" she sets the treats on my desk and joins me on my bed, hands on my shoulders immediately. The excitement is practically dripping from her voice and I can tell she's probably more hyped for this night than me--and she doesn't even know what it entails yet.

"Dinner...with a friend?"

"What kind of friend?" she pushes, her eyes growing wider with each second.

"A...new one."

"What gender?" her lips curl up. She seems to have a pretty good clue what the answer is.

"A boy."

I roll my eyes as she squeals, acting more my age than me. After she fans herself and goes on about how this boy must be so sweet to see something in me and how she can't believe I am going somewhere on my own with someone, she finally calms down as she sees me with my hands over my face.

"Oh, sweetie. I'm so happy for you," she holds onto my hands dearly, prying them off to see my facial expression. I shoot her a small smile.
