Kaliee's POV
It's now Christmas Eve and everyone is at Taylors having a great time but me. Vincent still hasn't talked or looked at me since I came back and that was 2 days ago. Right now me ,Leo ,hade ,blake, wane, and Henry are all in the backyard just talking. I was ripped out of my thoughts when Leo asked "Hey Kay you ok?" I looked at him and gave him a small smile. "Um... yeah." I said a little uneasy. Now all of the boy were looking at me. "She's just a little up set becaseu Vincent's hasnt looked or talked to her since she came back 2 days ago." my brother Henry said. Just thinking about that Vincent hasnt talked to me in 2 days gets me all flustered and fustrated. I stand up and say "I'll be right back I'm just going for a small walk so I'll see you before dinner starts." I started to walk to the woods when my brother said "are you going to be ok?" I smiled a little and nodded then headed in to the woods.
I was walking for sometime before I came to a clearing . It had a beautiful water fall plunging into the lake below. The moon was full and right next to the lake was a beautiful cherry blossom tree. I walked over to the tree and sat under it. I leaned my head back against the tree and just looked up at the moon through the cherry blossom's pink and red branched. It's so peaceful here. It felt like you could just stay like this forever but sadly you cant. All I wanted was a normal life with my mate. Or as normal as it could get with a demon/werewolf hybrid. I don't want to regret ever doing what I did to get Vincent and Westen back but I do a little because it's like my mate cant even look at me the same. He would have done the same exact thing for me so why cant I do it for him? I heard some of the boys whispering about their sister trying to get my mate. Yup Clare and her daughter Kerry came to the Christmas party. Taylor almost ripped their heads off when they first came because they could keep their mouths shut from complaining about her food, couches, walls anything you could find in the house really but they stayed away from me because they new if they didn't I would kill them on the spot.
I looked back to the lake and saw with my good vision a little fish. I love fish I just got fish tank actually with to blue fighter fish. I named one Fred and the other Larry. I know such awesome names right. I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard a little baby wolf howl in pain. and this was a real wolf not a werewolf. I jumped up and stripped then shifted. I rushed to were the sound came from. I came to a small clearing and saw a 2 wolves circling the baby wolf ready to attack him. I growled at the wolves with my mother instinct kicking to protect the wolves. I was much bigger then a real wolf so I looked like a alpha to a normal wolf. They stuck their tails in between their legs and ran away. I went over to the cub , put my clothes on the ground and licked his face to show him I wouldn't hurt him. I saw they bit his tail a little but nothing that wouldn't heal. He barked in a happy tone and licked my nose. I changed back into my human form and out on my clothes. The baby still recognized me from my smell . So when I bent down in front of him he jumped into my arms. I picked him up and pet his soft fur. He was a little black wolf with a yellowish green eyes.
I gave him and kiss on his forehead as he snuggled onto me more. I think I am going to name him Charlie. I started to make my way back to the house when I heard my name being called. I look to see it was Henry running to us. Charlie must have heard him because he started to growl at Henry. When Henry got to us he said "Where were yo- whoa what is that?" Charlie was still growling at him and I said "This Charlie I just saved him from wolves. here give me your hand." Henry gives me his hand and I slowly bring it to Charlie. Charlie sniffs his hand and doesn't growl so I bring Henry's hand to Charlie's fur and Charlie let's him pet him. Charlie starts to make a purr like sound and Henry is looking at me with loving expression. "What?" I ask. "You really are to good of a person sis." He says an then adds " But everyone is about to eat so come on." We walked back to the house and soon make it to the back door. I walked in with Henry and Charlie in my arms. We walk into the dinning room and everyone is seated and eating already. They all look up and Charlie pops his head up at the same time to look at everyone.
